About the role

Your Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to capitalize on your strengths in defining strategy and building deep partnerships at a global and local level. 
You will play a vital role in helping to build the capability we need to deliver a world class Bacardi Enterprise Services Infrastructure. 
At the same time, you will be a critical partner for the Leadership Team in Costa Rica, to deliver HR Operational Support across the full hire-to retire life-cycle.

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be
  • Across roles, leveraging your experience, expertise, networks and global insights to help us build world-class Hire-to-Retire capabilities  
HRD Bacardi Enterprise Services 
  • Leading the HR agenda and partnering with the Bacardi Enterprise Services (BES) Leadership Team on organisational design, culture & engagement, talent growth and development. The latter to include building business capabilities across HR, Operations/Services, Supply Chain, Customer Services, Graphic/Creative Service for Marketing & Advanced Analytics, and any other service lines through which BES may help deliver impact to Bacardi  
  • With a current team of 300 Primos in 17 countries, you will craft a long-term strategic plan to support significant growth and expansion plans while being hands-on in execution to ensure brilliant delivery
  • Demonstrating and enabling excellence in HR Business Partnering and service delivery that creates an incredible Primo experience and builds trust, confidence and belief in BES amongst your stakeholders. We need you to build this trust and belief and deep relationships across organisational levels and markets with stakeholders including: The HR Executive, BES Leadership Team, IT Leadership Team & HR Primos in the countries where we will end up providing HR Operations Services (Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Workday Administration) and potentially others in the future  
  • Identifying & harnessing global best practices and insights from other industries and organisations to inspire a uniquely Bacardi approach to Enterprises Services
HRD Operations Costa Rica 
  • Leading the HR Ops agenda for Costa Rica and work in close partnership with your Costa Rica Leadership Team 
  • Nurturing and enhancing an efficient and engaging hire to retire infrastructure in a way that supports our Primos in their career moments that matter – from attraction to leadership development, talent management and succession planning
Talent Management 
  • Deliver exceptional Talent Management support to our IT organisation of 140-150 global Primos in addition to providing Talent Management support to the BES organisation and Primos in Cost Rica

  • Authentic, inclusive leadership, with the demonstrated ability to inspire and engage a diverse, geographically spread team
  • Extensive experience navigating through change, supporting others, instilling confidence, building trust and working with and through others to deliver exceptional results  
  • Deep experience of business partnering, processes and ways of working in a global Shared Services environment
  • Expertise in organisational design including business transformation and change management 
  • High degree of commerciality and business acumen so that BES is ‘run like a business’ (this is not traditional HR delivery, this is the business of delivering brilliant HR services) 
  • Experience navigating complex global matrix environments to quickly understand the most efficient way to deliver great results, through and with others
  • Core HR expertise and knowledge from hire to retire
  • As we deliver against the strategic vision to be the preferred business partners for business operations globally within Bacardi, you will have had experience in talent acquisition and development, cost management, customer service, service quality and business analytics  
  • Language Requirements: English & Spanish fluency at minimum
  • Developing great talent and high performing teams
