About the role

  • With this role of IT Operations - IT Commercial Solutions, Engage with business partners and IT to understand requirements from Commercial Team and other parts of the organization, and drive the design, programming execution, and UAT for future state capabilities within the platform. You will look for opportunities to optimize the platform structure based on the current state and future state roadmap, and provide ongoing input to the platform managers around data integration opportunities.
  • The role is to support the Global Commercial Team and the business on developing solutions for Anaplan and associated technologies
  • You will also be responsible for driving solution adoption and continuous improvement initiatives across the covered markets. This will require periodic communication and collaboration with business partners.
  • You will develop a close working relationship with Regional/HUB Business Partners, business super users, the Manila Delivery Center, the Global Commercial IT team, as you serve each and every user market to ensure alignment on global solution strategy.
  • You will also ensure efficient integration with adjacent systems like SAP, Vistex and other technologies
  • In dealing with end-users and on application support, you have to have excellent communication skills and customer mindset.
  • In this role you can expect some amount of business travel to connect with key business contacts in relevant markets, as well as evening meetings (as needed).

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Impeccable Application Support Management and Continuous Improvement Regionally or Globally:
  • Thoroughly assess platform development requirements and plan / organization and execute work product to deliver capabilities to the agreed to plan 
  • Plan, organization and support UAT execution 
  • Maximize the ongoing data integrity and quality across the platform and aligned data elements 
  • Responsible for managing issue escalations to ensure they are addressed in a timely and effective manner 
  • Anaplan Platform Management/Development/Continuous Improvement 
  • Identify data sources and opportunities for additional automation and/or process streamlining 
  • Lead or participate, as required, in developing and delivering training materials on platform details, processes and systems to functional teams 
  • Play a key role in providing requirements, Data elements, and recommendations for technical system builds and enhancements and maintaining and active engagement with IT 
  • Develop and Manage the Solutions for Anaplan and related platforms ( both technical and process )
  • Work with external partners if needed
  • Support in ensure incident management and problem management delivered meet the defined SLAs
  • Ensure that developments are delivered on time as agreed with the business and project team
  • Undertake joint forward-looking capacity planning to match the required skills and resources with anticipated business demand, including close liaison with other Global IT functions
  • Align service requirements, measures and scorecards with the business and IT partners
  • Drive application support cost reduction through innovation and improved ways of working 
  • Conduct regular meetings with the business and stakeholders to review performance & KPIs
  • Review and approve system patches and fixes
  • Vendor Management
  • Work with Vendors and IT partners to do application fixes, upgrades and Development
  • Create KPIs and SLAs with Vendors and IT partners to ensure consistent delivery of Service

Critical experiences for success

To be successful in this role you will have/be:
  • Bachelor's Degree (IT or technical related degree preferred) 
  • More than 3 to 5 years of working experience in regional/global Application Operations & Support Management role
  • Anaplan certification and/or significant work experience driving development with Anaplan in a complex business environment 
  • Demonstrated experience with database development and management (SQL) 
  • Lean / Agile Product Development expertise and experience 
  • Knowledge of sales operations processes including territory management, quota deployment and commissions 
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Advanced Excel 
  • Knowledge of SAP, CRM tools, Commercial Applications 
  • Commitment to excellence with a passion for driving transformation with the ability to drive change management and integration 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting 
  • Strong problem solving skills with a solutions oriented approach to challenges 
  • Ability to act independently and exercise independent judgment and discretion within generally defined practices and policies to carry out responsibilities 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines Good understanding of outsourcing and off shoring, building win/win strategies and contracts with suppliers
  • Experience/exposure to different markets dynamics/specificities/cultures
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology
  • Deep problem solving, root cause analysis capabilities
  • Ability to manage the matrix, top class collaboration skills (with business, IT, top to bottom and sideways)
  • Proficiency in English language skills
