About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You will be the single point of contact for Rebel Brands on Product Innovation. In this critical position, you will be accountable for coordinating innovation planning and launches across all Rebel Brands and all regions ensuring both product and assets are in place and on time. You will ensure all markets have and deliver their innovation pipeline in accordance to short- and longer-term company objectives. You will also be instrumental in collating and elaborating information for the Global VP and other key stakeholders, as well as lead ad-hoc projects and brand-related tasks where needed.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • This is a critical role for the delivery of the growth objectives that are part of the Strategic Plan for Rebel Brands portfolio (42 BELOW, BREEZER, ERISTOFF, GET, WILLIAM LAWSON’S), in which innovation represents a fundamental part. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
  • Project leader for all Rebel Brands led innovation, in line with Bacardi Innovation process. Development and delivery of innovation pipelines for Rebel Brands portfolio.
  • Own the Rebel Brands 3 Year Innovation plan and monitor innovation development to ensure on time delivery. 
  • Lead innovation relationships within a matrix organisation. Responsible for co-ordinating all innovation volumes, pricing and commercial launch plans, launch samples, launch sell-in decks etc. 
  • Connecting regularly with key stakeholders (OC PMs, Regional Marketing, Commercial teams in markets, Project Leaders, Innovation Committee) to get and share information about new and existing launches.
  • Coordinate the development of toolkits and other assets (including digital) that markets need to activate innovation successfully.
  • Coordinating and following up on all NPD launches to identify gaps and gains vs initial P&L/distribution/ROS objectives and propose corrective actions, as well as other M&E plans that might have been established ad-hoc.
  • Achieving maximum scale on all projects by collating bottom-up needs from markets and building multi-year plans on NPDs.


Skills and Experience

  • Broad and deep experience of consumer products innovation from opportunity identification to launch
  • Comprehensive understanding of consumer-centred, innovation development processes and best in class commercialisation
  • Strong relationship building skills and proven ability to influence across senior levels in the Innovation, Marketing and Commercial communities and create alignment within cross-functional teams and with stakeholders from a broad variety of markets and cultural backgrounds 
  • Strong strategic sense with ability to simplify the complex and turn possibilities in to commercial reality; strong track record of delivering results
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, 
  • Creativity to develop solutions that will disrupt the future moments that matter for our consumers and good creative judgment in a product development and design context
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor others to adopt best practices and raise their capabilities
  • Spirits or beverage alcohol experience helpful but not required
  • Digitally savvy and an advocate for leveraging technology to drive productivity and efficiency   
  • Commercial and financial acumen
