About the role

This role is responsible for managing and reviewing the replenishment and distribution of Bacardi products in Eastern Canada. The ideal candidate will champion great customer service by collaboratively working across all functions and liquor board contacts, and continuously improve business relationships with customers.  You will manage appropriate communications and expectations with both internal and external stakeholders. An important part of the job will be to collaborate with key contacts in order to proactively drive efficiencies in the supply chain, and also to drive continuous improvements in business processes and ensure appropriate alignment with cross functional teams.


About You

The ideal candidate will provide critical thinking, sound analysis and appropriate decision making to support end to end inventory management. They will also apply sound root-cause problem solving skills in the pursuit of solutions that address the core drivers of the issues. Strong ability required to clearly summarize recommendations for management and present recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be
  • Responsible for the planning, management and review of customer inventory
  • Creation of the shipment report
  • Enter customer orders and communicate changes to purchase orders
  • Engage the customers on potential gaps in inventory and mitigate gaps in supply and overstocks.
  • Maintain, monitor, and influence the results of relevant key performance indicators across service, cost, cash and quality
  • Manage cost impact of trade-off recommendations across cost, service, cash and quality to arrive at the most appropriate solution for the business
  • Drive the on-going development and refinement of processes and metrics to ensure continuous improvements and efficiencies in service, cost, cash and quality
  • Proactively address and communicate issues that might impact inventory levels
  • Actively manage and support new product Introduction, product discontinuations, allocations

  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and interface with internal and external stakeholders across various levels of the organization
  • Experience in customer service and/or inventory management an asset
  • Knowledge of supply planning/forecasting systems; Experience with SAP an asset
  • Advanced excel skills an asset
  • Degree in supply chain, business management, or related fields
  • Must be bilingual (English & French)

  • Strong writing skills, and communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the company
