About the role

Your Opportunity

In this role you will be accountable for creating value through driving revenue and developing strategic relationships with key customers in the On trade channel. You will create the legacy of Bacardi and drive key decisions that will significantly affect Bacardi’s presence in the market. Your deep commercial knowledge and ability to develop strategic relationships and coach an On Trade team will be key to your success in this role. 

About You
  • Experienced Manager, with expertise in managing accounts or Key Account Customers in a leading FMCG company, with solid commercial skills; with proven experience leading sales teams. 
  • People management experience including proven coaching abilities and leadership abilities to create a collaborative high performing team strong track record of performance in Commercial. Proven analytical, planning, communication, and negotiation skills. 


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Support the execution of the On Trade Strategy, through a deep understanding of channel and customer dynamics, trends, and needs, focus on hotels. 
  • Set a Sell-Out mindset within his/her team.
  • Commercial responsibility for the delivery of the On Trade channel activity plan, including delivery & execution of all brand programmes and bidding with the most importants hotels. 
  • Manage, develop and creating a bold strategy to capitalize the opportunities in Boutique Hotels, European plan hotels and all-inclusive in the riviera maya.
  • Develop and effective way to work with the wholesalers and the staff of the hotels.
  • Align and set clear priorities for brand activation and commercial activities while managing assigned budget within his/her area. 
  • Develop and Measure and Evaluation (M&E) culture within the Team.
  • Analyse market trends to identify business opportunities

Skills and Experience

  • Experience managing On Trade Accounts or Key Account Customers in a leading FMCG company 
  • Solid commercial acumen
  • People management experience including proven coaching abilities and leadership abilities to create a collaborative high performing team.
  • Strong track record of performance in Commercial
  • Proven analytical, planning, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Effective use of networking and strong interpersonal skills
  • First-hand field sales experience
  • Demonstrate proactivity, initiative, and determination (always work with sense of urgency)
  • Proficiency in English and fluent in Spanish.
