About the role

In this role you will be accountable for creating value through driving revenue and developing strategic relationships with key customers in Belgium. You will:

• Be responsible to deliver key revenue, value market share and pricing targets.

• Develop, and maintain, effective and strategic relationships with Key Customers.

• Be accountable for the implementation of the commercial plan.

• Demonstrate the entrepreneurship needed to respond effectively to changes in market conditions and customer circumstances

• Identify opportunities and guide the development and execution of the Best 10 strategy to maximize Bacardi’s performance

• Be accountable for the implementation of Commercial plan


Deliver results & excellence in execution

• Deliver on key revenue targets (NSV, Gross Margin, ROI, Value Share)
• Understand customer strategy and how to leverage the Bacardi strategy to grow mutual business.
• Drive, agree, and execute customer Joint Business Plans that deliver “win-win” value to Bacardi and customers
• Review the brand performance with customers on a regular basis (Business Reviews & Selling Stories).
• Optimize promotional plans through the year through implementation of the ROI strategy
• Build effective long-term relationships with Key Customers & drive a pay for performance-based approach across all channels.

Develop talent and capability

• Implement standardized Commercial best practices
• Drive change, efficiency, and effectiveness in close collaboration with other departments
• Demonstrate expertise in category and shopper insights; serve as an advisor to Customers to drive mutual growth
• Embed a customer centric approach in everything we do and drive external focus

Skills and Experience

• Min 3 years’ Experience managing Key Accounts / Customers in a leading FMCG company at national level
• Strong track record of delivery with Customers in a commercial role
• Demonstrated strong negotiation skills
• Preferably knowledge of sales effectiveness tools processes and category management
• Fluency in Country’s most spoken languages (NL, FR)
• Proficiency in English language skills
• Hands-on and pragmatic attitude
• Good financial acumen and P&L understanding
• Understanding of off-trade & by preference also on-trade
