About the role

Your Opportunity

As Legal Manager, Iberia, based in Barcelona, you will work in close collaboration with the Iberian leadership team to provide business-oriented legal services in a fast-paced commercial and marketing environment. You will also perform cross functional and regional assignments, such as legal training, and boosting the compliance and GDPR awareness of the teams, under the supervision of the Regional General Counsel Europe.

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Support to Iberia Commercial teams, such as drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts and terms and conditions, adopting a risk-based approach which enables efficient solutions for tomorrow’s challenges and advances Bacardi’s interests 
  • Support to Iberia Marketing teams (including IP and innovation) to enable growth and development of disruptive campaigns while mitigating legal and social responsibility risks
  • Enhance Governance and Compliance across the region including the implementation of GDPR requirements 
  • Defend Bacardi against complaints and regulatory investigations
  • Continually seek to expand knowledge of Bacardi’s business and expertise
  • Interact effectively with Legal Department colleagues, clients and others to complete tasks accurately and efficiently and to enhance the reputation of the Legal Department

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Bachelor's Degree +5 (incl. Master, Bar Exam or Business schools), mainly on business and commercial law.
  • Up to 3-6 years of experience in business commercial law / international law either in law firm and/or in international FMCG industries.
  • Proved track record in providing legal advice in areas including contracts, competition law, data protection and intellectual property law.
  • Bilingual capacity in Spanish and English: Speaking Portuguese is also advisable.
