About the role
Responsibilities
- Represent the full portfolio of Bacardi Ltd brands in Colombia as the public face of the brand locally.
- Shape the trade’s image of the brands sharing their brand stories, ensuring they are served with excellence, and making them relevant in the trade and on social media.
- Implement brand education and drink strategy training with the trade (and where relevant consumers).
- Manage the local implementation of advocacy engagement platforms such as cocktail competitions, trade community events and advocacy events.
- Support the local sales team with brand & drink listings via bar consultancy & the development of disruptive serves.
- Help to set Advocacy KPIs and measure these KPIs monthly, creating accurate KPI reports for Colombia.
- Amplify your brands and activities on your personal ‘professional’ IG profile.
Skills and Experience
- Bartending Skills: Advanced cocktail making skills with experience creating your own craft-cocktail creations, as well as the ability to demonstrate cocktail making techniques to both advanced and novice audiences.
- Education Skills: Strong story-telling skills with the ability to take the brand stories and make them your own and relatable to different audiences. The ability to explain complicated production concepts in simple language.
- Project Management: The ability to manage your time, several different activity and deliver on your commitments in time and to a high-quality standard to your internal and external stakeholders. This includes the efficient Measurement & Evaluation of your activity and the sharing and reapplication of your learnings.
- Administrative Skills: Managing your external facing advocacy responsibilities and staying on top of your administration – especially your daily planning, expenses, emails, and reporting – is a critical skill.
- Industry Connection & Influence: As an Ambassador you must have and grow your network of industry relationships that you will influence as well as use to identify trends, opportunities and best practices that can be applied to your market to make our Advocacy programming stronger.
- Commercial Skills: You must understand basic commercial skills, like how to identify or create value propositions, to allow you to effectively consult with and add value to your customers and move their business forward.
- English: A sufficient level of English is required to understanding global communications / materials.
