About the role

Your Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to be part of our global logistics and customer service team and play an important Global role in our organization. 
You will build deep partnership at a global and local level, across Bacardi as logistic Analyst to ensure the continuity of overseas bulk shipments between Distilleries, Bottling Plants and Co-packers.

You will play a major role in ensuring the correct logistic process and smooth communication between all stakeholders, ultimately helping Bacardi to deliver against our BEST10 growth aspirations to support sales.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:

Order & Stakeholder Management:  
  • Receive, manage, and track orders for Bulk Ocean Project (820 tanks per year with opportunity to grow). Tank arrival tracking with Bottling Plants and freight forwarders. 
  • Tracking of quality validation process for tank acceptance & Review bulk volume forecasting with Distilleries. 
  • Alignment and coordination with bottling Plants to have the product ready to ship in a timely basis.
  • Coordinate schedule for loadings with Bottling Plants and freight forwarders. 
  • On transit shipment tracking. 
  • Request & secure bookings on time with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
  • Manage shipment contingencies with different local ports. 
  • Responsible to answer requirements and provide information to the different stakeholders (shipping lanes, agents, 3pl’s, origin and destination plants)  
Administration:
  • Management of documentation, requesting stakeholders all the documents required per shipment.
  • Issuance of documents needed by shipping lines to secure IMO acceptance.
  • Verify error free data for shipment documentation (820 shipments p/y, 5 critical documents per shipment) 
Finance, Systems and KPI’s Management:
  • Reception and processing invoices from suppliers & Backlog management 
  • Purchase Orders administration in SRM & Coordinate good receipts (GR’s) for Bulk over cost. 
  • Tracking over cost for each operation. 
  • Accrual creation and shipment cost in SAP
  • Creation of new suppliers in SAP.
  • Weekly KPI’s reporting on deep sea process & Monthly tracking of the KPIs related to Bulk process.
  • Implement corrective actions according to the KPIs results. 
  • Resolution/prevention of queries.
  • Manage ad hoc quotes & Master data set up for new flows.
  • Ad-hoc tendering for airfreights
  • Trouble shooting with 4PL teams, 3PL and direct carriers.

Skills and Experience

  • Background in logistics 
  • Strong SAP knowledge.
  • Strength in critical analysis- seeking to understand complex business needs and review them via continuous improvement process principles and incorporations of available systems technologies. 
  • Demonstrate accountability and capability to work independently with confidence to ask for support when required.
  • Ability to find effective ways of working within a matrix organization, and within a fast-changing environment. 
  • Administration skills and close attention to detail.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations in relation to delivery & execution.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with teams across different geographies and cultures.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and find innovative solutions.
  • Experience with strong aptitude for working with systems like SAP SRM and Microsoft.  
  • Language Requirements: English is essential, other European Languages is an asset.
