About the role

What does a Logistics Coordinator do?

Coordinates and manages daily loading plan and provide all relevant support documentation for Cased Goods shipments. Coordinate and manage IntraCompany stock transfer movements to ensure stock available in appropriate storage locations for shipment.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Management of daily loading plan
  • Allocation of Cased Goods against all customer orders – either from Cased Goods Warehouse, 3rd Party storage or from planned production
  • Ensure timely issue of picking list and seals to support daily loading plan 
  • Create IntraCompany STOs and arrange transport to support the movement of Cased Goods between JDSL and 3rd party storage facilities
  • Production of all relevant HMR&C Documentation to support the movement of under bond Cased Goods – NES / EMCS
  • Adherence to all HMR&C requirements relating to the movement of under bond Cased Goods
  • Administer and control customs record archives in line with HMRC requirements
  • Provide all supporting commercial documentation and supply of labels  required to complete Market Registrations 
  • Ensure that Bills of Lading are issued and supplied in accordance with Customer requirements
  • Prepare and issue all relevant commercial documentation - Age Certificates / Certificates of Origin / EUR1 and Packing Lists to support the shipment of Cased Goods
  • Manage requirements for Certificate of Analysis and Free Sale
  • Support Fulfilment Planner as and when required
  • Maintain a register of Market documentation requirements, ensuring this is reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to support requirements for ALL HMRC and Commercial Documentation
  • Coordinate the supply of samples e.g. bottles, labels, dry materials to Markets as and when required
  • Ensure that the working environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping in accordance with agreed business standards
  • Provide support for annual inventory counts and audits

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Working within a FMCG environment for + 3 years
  • Working knowledge of Customs & Excise procedures and regulations + 3 years
  • Experience of Bonded Warehouse operation and controls
  • Working knowledge of SAP of advantage
