About the role

WHAT DOES MARKETING MANAGER – PREMIUM WHITE SPIRITS MEA & SUBSA DO?

You will author the next chapter of growth for Premium White spirits in the highly dynamic Middle East North Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa clusters in AMEA. You will contribute to the identification of opportunities, strategy development, design and execution of consumer platforms and brand assets.  Your ability to gain commitment to a growth vision is critical for success.

Overview of your responsibilities:
  • Identify growth opportunities for the PWS portfolio
  • Lead strategic brand planning for key markets.
  • Drive design & deployment of brand activity into Countries..
  • Lead development of integrated platforms, acting as integrator across multiple functions
  • Measure and evaluate the performance of all brand activities to codify growth levers
  • Ensure executional excellence on all consumer & customer-facing activities

You will be based in Dubai, with frequent travels across Middle East & Africa

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:

  • Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies and activities to realize these opportunities
  • Measure and evaluate activities to identify & codify brand growth drivers
  • Lead development of brand “Jobs to be Done” in the MENA & SUBSA markets and participate in activity ideation & development in the annual Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process
  • Drive commitment to recommended plans by influencing key market, region and global stakeholders
  • Spearhead integration of consumer touchpoints across advertising, PR, digital and other consumer facing programs
  • Contribute to the design of brand assets as defined in the IAP with the CPA team and influences commercial stakeholders in execution of the consumer programs
  • Deliver performance targets on brand activities, as set out in the annual M&E plan
  • Leads brand A&P budget for the markets to maximize return on investment
  • Identify and lead innovation projects with key markets

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead end to end - from identifying growth opportunities, to developing strategies and driving execution
  • Comfortable in leading & coaching commercial & cross-functional teams.  Experience driving results in in a matrix organization
  • Can combine intuition with strong data analysis to generate compelling business cases
  • Demonstrated understanding of consumer marketing fundamentals e.g. consumer insights; brand fundamentals; brief writing
  • Experience managing P&Ls
  • Experience in multiple specialty areas: digital, innovation, promotions, events, media, etc.
  • Strong verbal, presentation & written skills.  Confidence to influence at all levels in an organization.
  • Spirits industry knowledge &/or experience with luxury brands is a plus
