Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day Customer Analytics partner for the Bacardi USA National Brand Retail Sales team, focusing primarily on Albertson's/Safeway, Costco, and BJ's.
- Responsible for providing accurate and consistent business decision support, with insightful analyses via the use of various internal and external data sources (syndicated data, depletions, consumer insights, etc).
- Responsible for developing insights, risks & opportunities that create value and growth for Bacardi and the customer's business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Analytics, NRGM, Insights, Customer Solutions, etc.) to drive more actionable insights into the business.
- Analyze top line performance by NRS customer, promotional activity analysis including ROI and customer P & L; identifies, evaluates, communicates risks and opportunities.
- Responsible for presenting to the customer as well as National Retail Sales leadership teams.
- Supports as needed the planning and business routines needed to deliver industry-leading responses to Customer Joint Business Plans (JBP), which includes performing the required analytical support.
- Assist the NRS Team in managing their financial budgets and continue to drive M & E mindset in decision making.
- Drives the delivery of BUSA's unique selling proposition to impact Bacardi's business with our key National Retail Account customers.
- Ensures alignment on all aspects of internal commercial elements as it relates to the business units.
- Leads the development of the monthly and quarterly business reviews on the national accounts business, focusing on the analysis of future opportunities and understanding the performance drivers.
- Continuously looks to improve and simplify our processes as they relate to the planning, reporting, and performance measurements of our brands and how we use our supporting systems and tools.
- Build and foster solid business partnering relationships with internal and external customers.
Skills and Experience
- A well-organized, high-energy, detailed oriented, and persistent professional with the ability to identify/focus on key issues, prioritize efforts, and ensure follow-up with timely/quality results.
- A demonstrated track record of serving as a business partner to the senior leadership team with the ability to influence key business decisions and track performance against key objectives.
- Highly skilled at presenting data-driven stories to a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy utilizing strong analytical and organizational skills.
- 1-3 years experience in the Consumer Package Goods, Spirits, or broader beverage alcohol industry.
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Exposure/experience to statistical modeling methods and approaches.
- Strong analytical experience is essential.
- Actionable Insights: regularly deliver actionable customer performance insights that will lead to incremental sales opportunities.
- Standard Reporting & Analysis: deliver regular reporting, analysis, and commercial insights to the National Retails teams.
- Customer Meetings: work closely with Account Managers developing the sales story for Customer Meetings, focusing on the analytics-driven story, and assisting with the presentation of the story.
