About the role

Your Opportunity

As HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting HR and business teams to manage, execute and deliver HR administrative activity for Bacardi North America.


About You

You will have a strong HR background and a track record of successfully building and maintaining stakeholder relationships. You will need to manage and balance a matrix environment where different functions and teams could be competing for your time and attention. You will have strong credibility and knowledge in all aspects of HR and associated laws and policies.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:

  • Responsible for the HR Operations team of North America; effective management of critical HR systems (Workday) which champions a culture of engagement, drives business results, ensures compliance, and incorporates practices and processes that are proactive and agile.
  • Deliver quality customer service support to the HR function. Always looking for efficiencies and automation.
  • Works in total collaboration (and at times at the direction of) HR Business Partner teams; Holds teams accountable for producing high-quality work that meets business initiatives and compliance requirements related to HR administration, HRIS, and employee data. 
  • Manage staff of 2 in completing HR-related processes accurately and timely according to established policies and procedures, while applying continuous improvement.
  • Maintain appropriate records, files, documentation, etc. to support HR/People/Talent agenda for the business
  • Develops and maintains proactive reports and HR metrics that offer strategic insight for HR Business Partners and functional leaders for the North American region.  
  • Act as the point of contact for escalated inquiries, requiring a high-level knowledge of HR processes and applicable laws to ensure compliance and alignment with company policies and procedures
  • Manage workflow of service cases, Workday tasks, audits, and projects to be distributed evenly across the teams.
  • Assist with HR special projects and performs other duties as assigned Recommend improvement on business processes to enhance current processes; Identify opportunities and provide action plans to leaders.
  • Works closely with Finance team to track structure cost budget for the HR team, Primo relocation, and immigration cost to ensure compliance for FY (fiscal year).
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department.

  • Technical HRIS/Workday skills will help to support the candidate’s success.
Personal Qualities:

  • University Degree and 5-7+ years HR experience and 3+ years of people management, preferably with experience supporting large teams and senior HR and business leaders; Strong understanding of US Labor Laws.
