About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor performance: understand business drivers and analyse facts to understand true performance
- Drive discussions with managers on deviations to plan and recovery actions
- Bring a clear culture of accountability throught fact based reporting, shared with managers
- Challenge performance and status quo to influence forecasts : provide forward looking analysis
- Lead business case costing (new product development, CAPEX and savings,…)
- Manage all aspects of the month end performance analysis
- Work with team to improve our working capital level
- Apply inventory & write off policies
- Manage all aspects of the month end performance reporting based on SAP & TM1 tools and year end closing
- Owner and leader of budgeting & forecasting process
- Identify business Risks and Opportunities with financial impacts
- Standards costing and SAP Product Costing : annual standard costs preparation, validation and communication
- Show leadership and example skills, great behaviour to adopt
- Develop team skills by coaching and engaging them
- Appraise new projects, including savings and payback calculations
- CAPEX controlling, support delivery of project within agreed budgets, including both capex and savings if relevant
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and with Group Financial Reporting rules
- Responsible of SOX procedures for sites
Skills and Experience
- Degree in finance / accounting / controlling
- 5 years finance experience, plant Analystand/or financial auditor
- Fluent French & English
- Experience within changing environments, multinational organisations
- Ability to connect to operations in the fied (connect figures & business case with plant’s reality)
- Team spirit: team first, then the individual, offers trust, solidarity
- Autonomous / Anticipating / Proactive / Result oriented
- SAP experience
