About the role

Your Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to be part of the dynamic MENAT (Middle East, North Africa & Turkey) commercial team as Market Development Manager. Your principal role will be to maximize business opportunities by building strong relationships with key customers and third-party distributors. Keeping our consumers at the heart of everything you do, you will have the tools to plan and execute best in class commercial and marketing plans for our brands.

About Your
  • As the Market Development Manager, you will be accountable for delivering Business Financials as well as building Bacardi brands equity
  • You will insure product supply flow, demand planning and operational needs in collaboration with third party distributors. 
  • You will monitor Route to Market  opportunities, conduct market analysis and provide marketing and sales inputs relevant for the business & brands.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Responsible for achieving Business Targets’, reporting, and executing Commercial plans  
  • Work in collaboration with the marketing teams to ensure best execution of brand and marketing plans.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, third Party distributors and internal Stakeholders.
  • Manage and monitor third party distributor execution of agreed commercial and marketing plans
  • Monitor market and distribution trends to ensure optimal RTM 
  • Manage and monitor supply chain to ensure smooth market supply for our brands 
  • Analyze market data and trends for future business opportunities. 
  • Monitor distributors Key Performance Indictors.
  • Ensure optimum availability and visibility of our brands
  • Motivate distributor to achieve business targets and execute with excellence
  • Support Area Manager in sales & marketing strategic planning, budget preparations and revisions
  • Embed the Bacardi values to third party distributor teams 
Measures of Success
  • Creation of efficient supply chain flow 
  • Availability of our whole portfolio across markets, across channels.
  • Great relationships and partnerships with distributors
  • Measurable improvements in Distributor KPIs 
  • Volume Growth

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Preferably with a degree in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with a proven track record in sales 
  • FMCG experience essential, Spirit’s business knowledge is a plus 
  • Good knowledge of distribution channels, especially ON Premise. 
  • Strong knowledge of local market and culture
  • Proficiency in excel

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in handling a P&L 
  • Fluent in English and French  
  • Self-motivated & having a strong sense of accountability
  • Independent, Entrepreneurial and Committed.
  • Organised and well planned
  • Willing to frequently travel across designated markets 
  • Willing to frequently go out and follow consumer trends and habits across On and Off Premise.
