About the role

Your Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to be part of the MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, Turkey) commercial team as Market Development Manager. Your principal role will be supporting the distributor relationship and AVP (availability, visibility & promotions) to maximize our business opportunities.

About You 

As the Market Development Manager, you will be accountable for building Bacardi brands equity by leading and motivating third party distributors and optimizing best execution of local marketing mix in line with the brands global strategies. Lead end to end distribution flow and market dedicated production process. Support the market on demand planning, operational needs, marketing and commercial activity with third party distributors. Conduct market analysis and produce marketing and sales analysis inputs relevant for the business & brands.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Responsible for achieving budget, reporting and strategic plans recommendations for Israel
  • Manage and monitor supply chain to ensure smooth market supply.  Resolve supply constraints to deliver finished products, coordinate labelling processes and design changes.
  • Create demand forecasts, develop demand & inventory plans for the market by collaboration with cross functional team members of the supply chain, sales, finance, marketing, and customer support.
  • Plan and coordinate new product development and lead execution to product launch by collaborating with cross functional teams across the organization. 
  • Lead and coordinate Kosher processes across all production facilities.
  • Analyze data to foresee current and future business trends, review and analyze market and competitor. 
  • Delivering reports which will aid strategic planning to achieve budget. 
  • Monitoring distributors Key Performance Indictors.
  • Ensuring optimum distribution and visibility of our brands.
  • Work in collaboration with consumer and customer marketing teams to plan and ensure best execution of brand and marketing plans.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Preferably MBA with a degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent 
  • Around 6-8 years’ experience with a proven track record in sales including a minimum of 5 years' experience in FMCG in a Commercial / Sales Operational role
  • Strong knowledge of the market and culture in Israel
  • Proficiency in excel
  • Proven sales record with strong commercial and analytical skills  
  • Experience of handling P&L accountabilities
  • Proficiency in English and Hebrew

  • Be self-motivated & have a sense of ownership. Entrepreneurial and hard worker.
  • Organized with strong planning skills and the ability to multi-task
  • On trade (bars, restaurants) visitor/consumer following culinary and night life trends
  • Able to communicate professionally across different cultures. Team-working skills are vital.
