About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As a Market Manager for Image Accounts, you will guide your market to deliver sales goals and objectives within the territory, and key customer accounts with excellence. You will gain exposure to different elements of the sales and marketing organization to develop and execute customer strategies and business plans. You will also maintain an account list of top influential accounts in your market and deliver KPI goals. You will report to the State Manager and be based in New York. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally utilizing Bacardi resources and distributor partnerships to achieve maximum performance and sales efforts by achieving increased volumes while building extended lasting business opportunities in your market and Image account universe.
  • Development and strengthening relationships with key customer accounts to develop customer strategies and plans that translate into “win/win” scenarios through impactful presentations and evaluating return on investments led by our high NSV brands.
  • Manage your budget effectively and efficiently by applying thoughtful financial decisions to increase profitability and demonstrate strong financial acumen.
  • Collaboration and Coordination with Distributor, Advocacy, and Field Sales & Customer marketing On-Premise.
  • Responsible for reviewing overall market performance, including Rate of Sale drivers, activations, and executions.
  • Review monthly account and territory performance, including depletion and NSV growth. Adopt an “owner’s mentality” concerning territory performance.
  • Primary focus on High NSV brands driven by Patron, Grey Goose & D’Usse.
  • Responsible for creating, selling in, and implementing LTOs, menu placements, back bar placements, and well placements behind high NSV brands, and orchestrating the execution of account activations. 
  • Submit monthly activity reports on Pulse, expense reports, and business reviews on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for all new product introductions within the account universe.
  • Provide market and competitive brand updates to the commercial team to include timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitors.
  • Survey market to ensure distribution, pricing, POS, Back Bars, Menus, and other programs and more are executed to standard.
  • Responsible for reviewing overall market performance, including Rate of Sale drivers, activations, and executions.


Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or related years of experience
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferably in the spirits or beverage industry and 2+ years of on/off-premise experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the on and off-premise business and the critical business factors that drive and impact customers’ business decisions.
  • By living a Founder’s mentality, you are a leader and owner of your market passionate about driving business results.
  • You are an influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will have opportunities to display excellent written and verbal communication skills while also being relaxed while giving presentations in front of small groups of people including executives, Bacardi Primos, vendors, and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization.
  • You are computer proficient in working in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and can use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
