Responsibilities
- Build a strong understanding of target consumer groups and purchasers in our region by leveraging a mix of personal connection on ground, insights, trends, and data.
- Actively engage and build a network linked to our brand passion points and opinion leaders across MEA.
- Lead execution of the brands “Jobs to be Done” in the Middle East North Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa markets and participate in activity ideation & development in the annual Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process.
- Leads development of consumer-facing elements of IAP (ATL Content, Digital, PR Campaigns) in MEA region, and oversees development of shopper-facing activities by Customer Marketing in MEA.
- Actively supports markets in the building of country brand plans linked to the regional brand strategy and IAP.
- Identify growth opportunities (liquid and beyond) and recommend strategies and activities to drive share gains in the market.
- Measure, evaluate and report back on activities to identify & codify brand growth drivers through our proprietary evaluation tools.
- Drive commitment to recommended plans by aligning key market, region, and global stakeholders
- Spearhead integration of consumer touchpoints & setting of KPI’s across advertising, media, PR, digital and other consumer facing programs
- Contribute to the design / production of brand assets as defined in the IAP with the CPA team and influences commercial stakeholders in execution of the consumer programs
- Deliver performance targets on brand activities, as set out in the annual M&E plan
- Accountable for delivery of MEA performance targets in region (revenue, profitability, share, equity
- Orchestrates effective collaboration through the organizational matrix and shares accountability for the category P & L with Area Mangers in MENA and SUBSA.
- Leads brand A&P budget for the markets to maximize return on investment and monitor key markets P&L
- Identify and lead innovation projects with key markets
Skills and Experience
- 7 – 10 years of experience working on influencer brands in FMCG, Entertainment and Lifestyle.
- Commercial experience or mindset; with a strong willingness to co-own the markets growth ambitions.
- Excellent project management skills with a willingness to build networks and relationships in culture across our core markets.
- Results driven in a matrix organization with a can-do problem solver mentality.
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer marketing fundamentals e.g., consumer insights; brand fundamentals; brief writing; brand health etc.
- Experience in multiple specialty areas: digital, innovation, promotions, events, media, shopper etc.
- Strong verbal, presentation & written skills. Confidence to influence at all levels in an organization.
