About the role

WHAT DOES AN INCUBATION MARKETING MANAGER IN GTR DO?
  • Accountable for driving the effective seeding and growth of our Incubation and Acelleration brands in selected markets within the travel retail channel
  • Leading the launch plans for Teeling, D’Usse & Angel’s Envy, ensuring 100% discipline in implementation
  • Codifying growth opportunities, including identifying portfolio gaps across the brands
  • Build effective relationships with regional and global stakeholders to ensure plans and resources are aligned to delivering the growth model
  • Be the champion for our brands; an evangelist to deliver brand strategy and the plan to deliver growth
  • Assigning and overseeing the A&P budget per region for our brands
  • Inspire and support an entrepreneurial approach that facilitates innovative test & learn initiatives

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Brand strategy, activation planning & brand communications
  • Lead the launch plan of D’usse in China GTR (key JTBD, developing activity plans/consumer programmes to deliver this; actively consulting Regional & Global stakeholders)
  • Ensure a successful launch of Angel’s Envy in GTR, ensuring 100% discipline around implementation
  • Assign A&P to each GTR region for D’usse/Teeling (JV brands) giving clear guidance on brand activity splits to deliver commercial and brand targets
  • Develop specific GTR omni-channel toolkits, working closely with Global & Regional teams to ensure all requirements are covered

Lead Business Performance Management
  • Lead Quarterly Performance Business Reviews with Global/Joint Venture partners
  • Working with the key account team, identifying NPD portfolio gaps and prepare proposals for Global/JV partners for sign off & support
  • Lead long-term demand planning for Teeling, Angel’s Envy & D’usse – identifying future markets to roll-out to & when, ensuring volumes/plans can be supported by Global
  • Help drive the Revenue Growth Management agenda in GTR by completing robust analysis and supporting the process of setting pricing guidance for your brands

Generate support for Incubation brands 
  • Work closely with the Global Incubation team to ensure GTR’s brand strategy is executed in line with the growth model, positioning and BVI 
  • Keep Global updated on performance wins and issues and leverage support from them to resolve issues
  • Inspire and support an entrepreneurial approach, facilitating test and learn initiatives, blending a passion for doing the right thing for the long term with a sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit 

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Commercially confident. Ability to analyse and use commercial data to support decision making 
  • Expertise and track record of effective delivery of all elements of AVQPAP (preferably in super-premium brands)
  • Track record of premium brand guardianship, with the ability to grow brands in the right places, in the right way
  • Proven Influencer across a matrix organisation; ability to work across, support and influence local markets 
  • Drive for results; constant measurement and management of business performance against plan
  • Build a sense of passion and purpose for Incubation within markets 
  • Brand management experience; leading or supporting brand strategy development, as well as experience in promotions, digital, events, media etc
  • Degree and/or professional marketing qualifications
  • Fluent command of English
