About the role

Your Opportunity

This role will take leadership of Martini in the DACH cluster to cover a maternity leave of 1 year with specific responsibility of developing and delivering annual marketing plans that deliver integrated customer and consumer programs to deliver healthy brand growth for now and the future of the brand. A focus will be expanding the 5 year strategy defined for the brand through diversifying the channel and occasion mix post Covid to bring the total business to a turnaround.

In this role you will engage and influence senior leadership and the wider business in the strategy for Martini in DACH cluster. In addition, you will be a key representative of the European business at a Global marketing level Specific responsibilities include:
  • Design of the regional marketing strategy based on business rigor and clarity of the strategy, and the implementation of the action plan across DACH
  • Accountable for P&L management and road mapping sustainable short, medium, long term brand growth
  • Identify, test & prove-out growth drivers to scale in service of the roadmap
  • Lead and development of any creative workstream including adaptation of Global campaign to dark market


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Building annual plans and programming that puts the consumer at the heart of everything we do
  • Working closely with CPA & Commercial Teams to ensure full TTL deliver of programming to drive sales and equity gains. 
  • Development of comms & assets in partnership with the Global team
  • Leading local media, PR, experiential agencies to ensure we deliver innovative activities that deliver against CCGC and CJTBD to drive brand equity & desire
  • Build effective relationships and excitement within the organization with all stakeholders to ensure engagement leading to project delivery and always maximizing the innovation opportunity.
  • Actively monitor Brands KPIs and provide guidance on corrective action to achieve agreed objectives 
  • Ensuring clear M&E for 80% of plans and programming
  • Full P&L responsibility ensuring it is delivered to budget
Create a winning Team:
  • Actively support effective matrix working Nationwide as well as coach, nurture and develop local CPA & brand manager.
Measures of Success:
  • Delivery of ‘healthy’ brand growth in support of the DACH P&L, executing the 5y growth strategy defined for the brand
  • Build the turnaround of Martini in partnership with cross functional CPA, commercial and advocacy teams
  • Drive step change in brand equity and recruitment scores
  • Pioneering connections strategy and local interpretation of the global creative idea 
  • Clear development and progress o Demonstrate understanding of the challenges in DACH to create bespoke plans to deliver growth for the future
  • Strong relationship across the business with the LT

  • Experience working in international markets with specific focus on DACH
  • Solutions orientated with a passion to drive and deliver results o Analytical skills with a demonstrated aptitude turning data and information into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated leading the development and execution of annual brand strategy
  • Demonstrated excellence in execution in previous roles
  • Demonstrated success in complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable in working with ambiguity and change
  • Great at communicating and motivating cross-functional teams, vendors, agencies to deliver
  • High personal ownership, passion to perform & win
  • Speaking/writing English is a must
  • Speaking/writing Italian is a strong advantage
