About the role

What does a Marketing Manager do?

The Marketing Manager is the eyes and ears on the ground, always looking for ways footfall and revenue opportunities can be maximized.
Supporting the Casa BACARDÍ team to achieve results, the Marketing Manager will execute the marketing strategy delivering a strong social, digital and PR-led plan. They will support the local sales activity to drive B2B at the distillery and will manage all online communities to enhance & protect the reputation.

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Lead the creation of assets, including digital and print, under the direction of the General Manager and working closely with the Sales manager
  • Be a project manager – execute marketing projects on time and to budget, and supply reports to help steer the business in a dynamic and time sensitive manner
  • Develop and execute monthly content calendar with Digital Agency for Casa BACARDÍ , including copywriting for some posts, to develop fan bases, increase engagement, drive transactions on e-ticketing and e-shop platforms.
  • Manage social community platforms (including TripAdvisor) daily to respond to comments or direct messages, like positive comments, remove inappropriate content and escalate issues. Report feedback to operation teams to improve hospitality and experiences delivered in Brand Homes.
  • Manage all SEO and paid media advertising
  • Lead the email content creation and support the global CRM project by implementing strategies to gather first party data on site. 
  • Deliver monthly analytics and KPIs reporting to brand Homes, including recommendations for optimization and to increase engagement.
  • Manage all Brand Home contents on partner and distribution websites to guaranty updated and accurate information and content.
  • Support the PR strategy and comms plan by working with the PR agency on opportunities, and managing all web listings and digital representation of Casa BACARDÍ 
  • Digital, competition, trend watch for constant benchmarking
  • Work closely with Operation team to facilitate visitor experience content sharing, coordinate social media Sparkle screens.
  • Support Global Brand Homes Digital initiatives, share best practices and contribute to Open 365 1st Party Data working group. 

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Minimum of 3 years digital experience at a digital or media agency; or ideally well experienced in international Visitor Centre/Brand Homes/destination marketing.  Where possible, with a globally relevant brand/offering. 
  • Excellent creative skills – able to critically analyze creative, select appropriate imagery, and strong copywriting skills 
  • Proven track record of creating, tracking and successfully delivering against an A&P strategy.
  • Deep understanding of digital ecosystem and consumer touchpoints, including experience using Talkwalker, Hootsuite, Google Trends, etc., preferably with some operational awareness of what it’s like to work with a Visitor Attraction team during test and learn on new concepts/offerings
  • Entrepreneurial, with a ‘can do’ mindset and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with smaller budgets.
  • Experience in managing a range of relationships (internal stakeholders up, down and across the organizational matrix).
  • An outstanding communicator, both orally and visually.
  • Very strong organizational skills – consistent approach to logging information and reporting results
  • Independent working – self-motivated individual, able to manage your own time and prioritize your workload
