About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Angel’s Envy Material Planner is responsible for end-to-end planning of material supply for nominated suppliers, working closely with internal and external parties to ensure materials are in place to satisfy production requirements while also maintaining proper stock levels & optimizing the planning process. This candidate will play a key role in managing short and medium-term material requirements for Angel’s Envy current & future state of Operations. The material planner will work closely with the Procurement & Production teams to mitigate any factors related to material availability and will be the key point-person for maintaining strong supplier relationships.

ABOUT YOU
A highly-motivated Supply Chain professional with 3-5 years of experience in a materials supply-based role. Excellent communication skills & demonstrated knowledge of material planning in SAP systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects & priorities while developing strong relationships with Operations leaders & key Angel’s Envy suppliers.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
• Coordinate for all materials to be available with an acceptable delivery date to meet production requirements for both the Louisville Distilling Company (LDC) & off-site co-packer.
• Maintain and continuously evaluate supplier performance in collaboration with Procurement team & drive consistent, optimized ways of working across entire material supplier base.
• Proactively manage material shortages, excess & obsolescence, including root-cause analysis and corrective action planning
• Support Bill of Material (BOM) & master data maintenance for all existing & new IPCs
• Ensure proper inventory management of all production materials, both on-site & off-site storage
• Work closely with Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to execute proper delivery & transport of all inbound materials

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
• Excellent analytical skills to define & execute necessary actions to match supply and demand
• Strong capability to achieve results, manage change, drive continuous improvement & handle multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to interface with plant and corporate personnel at various organizational levels (internal & external business partners)
• Strong written and verbal communication with high level of organization & attention to detail

Skills and Experience

EXTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS – DEGREE, CERTIFICATION, ADDITIONAL TRAINING
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations or Supply Chain discipline highly preferred
• 3-5 years of material planning experience in manufacturing environment
• SAP/APO Systems - Proven experience in material/production planning & inventory management
• Microsoft Excel - Demonstrated knowledge of pivot tables, V-lookups, BI reporting
