About the role

Your Opportunity

In this role you will be accountable for creating value through driving revenue and developing relationships with Modern Trade customers in Colombia. You will create the legacy of Bacardi and drive the growth of our portfolio within the visited universe. You will be responsible to deliver key targets as determined in the Sales Plan. You will develop, and maintain, effective relationships with customers and stakeholders to influence the positioning of Bacardi brands in the retail stores. You will be accountable for the implementation of the Commercial plan that delivers against customer programs agreed in the Country Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) specific to the Off Trade customers.

About You 

You will drive our Picture of Success and activate our brands on the shop floor to influence consumers at the point of purchase. You will identify opportunities and guide the development and execution of strategies to maximize Bacardi’s performance at Modern Trade customers in Colombia, achieving value creation.

Deliver results & excellence in execution
  • Win value share in our core brands in Modern Trade
  • Deliver on predefined key revenue targets
  • Deliver on Pictures of Success targets
  • Increase distribution of our brands at your customers
  • Input into the shaping of the channel & portfolio strategy
  • Build effective long-term relationships with your Customers & Stakeholders in store
  • Increase visibility through the use of POS materials
  • Sell in our promo planning activities
  • Ensure perfect execution of our promotional activities on the shop floor
  • Implement the national and regional agreements negotiated by the Key Accounts
  • Support the Bacardi-Martini category development strategy
  • Track competition activities and cascade internally
  • Be the expert regarding your region, your portfolio and the retail trends, to become the categories' reference for your customers
Develop talent and capability
  • Implement standardized Commercial best practices

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • University degree
  • By preference: Demonstrable track record of performance in Commercial, First hand field sales experience preferred
  • E-commerce experience by preference with retails
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Full-time available;
  • By preference: Demonstrable affinity with the FMCG sector
  • Discipline, structures and a good ability to organize your work independently and effective;
  • Possess a strong winner mentality
  • Willingness to invest in a career path within Bacardi
  • Direct interaction, supervision, and trainings of agencies (merchandisers and BTL)
  • Weekly reports of prices, visibility, executions
  • Analysis of Nielsen information to generate action plans
The following experiences are preferred:
  • Experience in the Spirits Industry and/or Beverages is a distinct advantage
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus
