About the role

Your Opportunity

As a National Accounts Manager in the On-Trade, the sustainable growth of a diverse customer base in in your hands.  You will show a disciplined yet innovative approach to engaging customers, adding value to their business whilst activating in their outlets brilliantly, all in line with Bacardi Martini’s strategic direction.

In this role you will report directly to the National Sales Manager – On Premise and play an integral part in the Independent’s sales team’s pursuit for market share growth and trade advocacy.

Responsibilities

You will be required to deliver defined outcomes through the collaboration, execution of sales strategies and processes with your selected customers.  In this role you will work with varying types of groups and engage at all levels of management within them. The role will require you to be agile in your approach, manage conflicting priorities effectively whilst maintaining a high level of discipline to ensure your customer base sees Bacardi-Martini Australia as a preferred business partner.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Manage Key Relationships within designated group of customers
  • Lead Joint Business Planning sessions with customers to align on business goals
  • Driving performance NSV growth, visibility and profitability of BMA brands within these customers
  • Maximizing the ROI on national on-premise commercial agreements
  • Effective budget management for trade investment, activation, contract A+P and T+E
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop strategy for our brand portfolio in selected customer groups
  • Participate in overall channel commercial planning
  • Collaborate with national sales and marketing teams to ensure executional excellence throughout
  • Share best practice of local and national programs with counterparts
  • Actively identify new business opportunities and move on them appropriately
  • Adopt a founder’s mentality in regard to on -premise performance and investment
  • Lead meetings with key on -premise accounts within the assigned area to develop strong working relationships.
  • Be visible at key national events and participate where the opportunity fits our strategy.
  • Stay informed of customer and consumer trends; develop programs to capitalize on such trends.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • A proven track record of performance and delivery
  • Relationships across National On-Premise groups 
  • Strong sales and brand building experience within the on premise channel in the liquor industry
  • Knowledge of the structure and customers within the on premise channel
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, strong planning and negotiation skills in your current role
  • High level of commercial acumen and competitor knowledge within the on-premise channel
  • Well developed written and verbal communication, including excellent presentation skills
  • Effective use of networking and strong interpersonal skills. A great collaborator.
  • Willingness to travel and spend time in on-premise outlets nationally
  • Computer literacy and strong administrative abilities
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
