About the role

Your Opportunity

As a National Ambassador, you will be accountable for driving brand desire for Teeling Whiskey. You will serve as a critical extension of the North American Brand Team, responsible for national support against key brand program initiatives, education, and PR. You will serve as a mentor and leader to the local Teeling Ambassadors and support commercial teams on high impact business opportunities. You will work cross functionally with Teeling Regional Marketing Managers, Sales teams, Customer Marketing, and Advocacy against the execution of brand initiatives.

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand marketing, commercial, advocacy, and customer marketing to deliver and execute brand plans through various brand and sales activities. 
  • Generate brand awareness (including via national PR initiatives) and educate key influencers in the on/off-trade channel including key customers by bringing to life brand programs.
  • With a Founder’s mentality, you will lead projects and present disruptive ideas that put the brand at a competitive advantage and highest return on investment. You will develop and execute programs aimed at building brand desire and promote them through social media channels.
  • You will coach, mentor, and lead local Teeling Brand Ambassadors, sharing best practices and resolving any activity obstacles they may experience.
  • Gather information from the market, social media, and competition and transform this information into insights and opportunities for the brand.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • You must have a High School Diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ideally you will have bartending experience or preferably 2 years of work experience in the hospitality field/industry. 
  • Ideally you will have regional brand ambassador experience or experience as a brand consultant.
  • You must have a deep understanding of the spirits industry and competition in your respective brand category.
  • You will have deep knowledge on cocktails and experience crafting cocktails.
  • You are influential and an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will have opportunities to display excellent written and verbal communication skills while also being relaxed giving presentations in front of groups of people including executives, distributor partners, Bacardi Primos, vendors, and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization.
  • You must have the flexibility to travel to different cities and ability to work some nights and weekends.
