About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The OTC Sr. Analyst, reports directly to the OTC Accounts Receivable Team Lead of Global Shared Services Center in support of its mission to leverage resources  on a global scale through  the use of shared services to reduce costs, maintain or
increase customer service, and build new capabilities. Responsibilities include the delivery of Best In-Class OTC processes in accordance with negotiated Service Level Agreements.

Bacardi Business Service is looking for high performing individuals who are success driven and interested in a career at Bacardi. The Sr. Analyst position is a highly competitive  role structured  to strengthen accounting and finance competencies.
You will be managing  proper collection activities and efforts to ensure timely and accurate recovery and make sure that customer deductions and discrepancies  are properly handled and resolved.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Execute the collections process cycle (customer contact, escalations, legal referrals, etc.) to accelerate cash collections, and reduce DSO and overdue  percentage.
  • Create  on a monthly collections strategy to make sure targets  are achieved.
  • Coordinating with the Rebates and Customer Services teams to provide visibility of deductions and a prioritization of cases  to be tackled.
  • Completion of monthly tasks such as SOX controls, reports and information delivered to key stake holders.
  • Coordinating  with the Cash Apps team to make sure accounts are reconciled and payment are applied accordingly.
  • Becoming a problem solver of issues reported by customers  and key stake holders. Manage escalation and keep track of common mistakes and complaints
  • Keeping track and providing visibility of trends that produces un-collectability (Disputes/claims, Rebates deductions, returns, etc.)
  • Conduct regular touchpoint meetings with key stakeholders  (Commercial team, local finance, Customer Service and Logistics) to share results, challenges and require support.
  • Ensuring  a high level of global process efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Minimum of three years of experience working across one or more of the Order to Cash areas: (cash application, credit management, collections, rebates, billing, disputes management, etc)
  • Experience working  in Shared Services  environments.
  • Intermediate - Advanced in English
  • Finance Background.
  • Experience using SAP platform.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage his/her time efficiently.
  • Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing company practices and mindsets.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to capture information  in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences.
  • Proactive individual that can collaborate  and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Works well in a team environment and is a self-starter that continuously is thinking  on how things can be done better requiring minimal direction and support.
  • Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (outlook I excel/ word/ PowerPoint / Teams)
