About the role

Your Opportunity

In this role, you will provide Manufacturing Operations direction to the Huong Sen Group Company in Thai Binh, Hanoi, Vietnam. Also, remotely support the PT BMP & PT KBI companies in Bali, Indonesia. Ensure product supplies are aligned to deliver the market demand at optimum cost. Develop and maintain a systematic approach to ensure the products manufactured by these Copackers meet Bacardi standards. Also play a key role as the face of Operations and Supply Chain for the South-East Asia Market and point of contact for Regional Operations.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Oversees the Copacker’s planning and manufacturing systems for Bacardi products to ensure compliance with all product and process standards including specifications, approved methods, procedures, practices, and systems.
  • Identify and execute the ideal balance between customer service requirements, inventory optimization, manufacturing efficiencies, including capacity planning, SKU rationalization, planning and execution by driving the S&OP process.
  • Optimize the distribution network from plant to customer to improve the service level (Order fill rate & Lead time) and reduce cost and consumer / customer complaint.
  • Coaches and conducts training for Copacker’s management team on Bacardi standards as required.
  • Conducts audits of vendors’ processes, products, and systems. Evaluates and coordinates corrective action follow-ups to resolve issues.
  • Proactively researches and recommends enhancements to production planning, material procurement and quality management practices to drive continuous improvements.
  • Prepares various reports and documents for Operations Director, Regional Quality, Tradall and other internal customers as required and ability to travel and work outside normal schedule as required.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Minimum Education
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Technology or Chemistry
    • Added advantage for Advanced degree.
  • Minimum Experience
    • 7-10 years’ experience in manufacturing / supply chain in Alcobev / FMCG environment.
  • Language Skills
    • Fluent Vietnamese & English (since our Vietnam Copacker’s team does not understand English).
  • Proficient working knowledge in applying good manufacturing practices and procedures demonstrating necessary safety training and exposures.
  • Possess broad background including, but not limited to establishing and maintaining budgets, and quality management strategies and philosophies.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and sound working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / ISO standards.
  • Track record of managing 3rd parties and driving continuous improvement in their performance– service, quality & cost

  • Must possess and exhibit strong ability to work cohesively with others to accomplish company objectives.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities with ability to get results through mentoring and team-based approach.
  • Effective delegation skills, ability to think quickly, creatively and challenge team to do the same.
  • Must possess strong facilitation, negotiating and communication skills.
