About the role

Your Opportunity

The OTC Supervisor is responsible for delivering Best In-Class OTC processes, manage and develop a team in alignment with our strategy of best talent for the best10, ensure that our operation meets or exceeds organizational objectives. Key responsibilities are but not limited to: 
  • Ensure that the team delivers with high standard of customer satisfaction, quality, and compliance to the markets. 
  • Ensure we operate in a control environment.
  • Implement strategies to meet and improve KPIs and SLAs.
  • Drive high levels of process standardization and process efficiency into the rebates processes. 
  • Talent development, identify and manage ways to maximize team´s potential
  • Support or lead project to automate, simplify or improve the processes. 
  • Execute processes according to our SOD policy and authorization matrix. 
About You 

Bacardi Enterprise Service is looking for an experience supervisor with proven record of success managing and developing high performance teams. The supervisor will be responsible for leading several processes within order to cash but his primary area of responsibility will be on rebates management. 

The candidate must have proven experience managing people and developing strategies to ensure company and team objectives are met. Should be advanced in English, with a finance or accounting background.  Available to work a shift from 5am to 2pm.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Leading the delivery of strong Order to Cash processes including Rebates, Collections, Credit management and cash applications ensuring a robust internal control environment. 
  • Participate in and supervise the execution and delivery of all rebates processes under our scope. 
  • Conduct reviews to control rebates deductions and backlog
  • Support / Participate in the diverse rebates management improvement projects.
  • Drive a high level of global process standardization, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Ensure audits requests are performed on time.
  • Manage escalation and keep track of common mistakes and complaints 
  • Build strong relationships with key business partners
  • Lead performance develop the team (+20 employees) and commit to their growth and motivation, and drive their engagement to the company, acting under a values-based framework.  
  • Improve Primos skills by identifying and developing training and projects that support Primas development. 
  • Open to receive feedback from the team, listen their needs and eliminate roadblocks. 
  • Create capability in the team, sharing knowledge in technical areas and soft skills. 
  • Redesign org structure to respond to business needs and BES expansion.

  • Develop a mindset of continuous improvement by constantly striving for ways to: 
    • Leverage process efficiencies on a global basis
    • Drive down “end to end” process costs while improving quality and performance

  • Influence and collaborate with business partners and key Stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities that allow our organization to drive additional value for Bacardi in alignment with the Best10 Strategy. 
  • Analyze and determine best practices to achieve maximum results, maintains a constant focus on achieving and surpassing established targets.
As a supervisor, your role will be based on the following strategic pillars:

Operational Excellence and Strategy: Review and provide input to targets for global cost /service level performance metrics consistent with the defined process strategies, manage team´s productivity and adapt/evolve organizational structure as required to maintain and improve the end-to-end process. Ensure that process documentation is complete, keep abreast of new technologies and practices used in process through external learning and networks.
Communicate the vision, mission, and plan on a page as well as other relevant information to build a culture-based organization. Ensure that strategy and ways of working are communicated to the team. 

Maintain alignment between the center and the global process strategies through active interaction with the different stakeholders and business partners.

Process Optimization: propose and execute strategies to gain efficiencies, reduce cost and provide visibility to other areas (Customer Services, Sales teams, Finance, etc) about potential improvement areas impacting processes. Communicate the vision, mission, and plan on a page as well as other relevant information to build a culture-based organization. Ensure that strategy and ways of working are communicated to the team.  

Review and provide input to process improvement ideas and prioritization, ensures that work plans are completed for improvement initiatives and monitors implementation progress, assist in conflict resolution process work, and actively manage the escalation process. 

Leadership and Organizational Excellence: Ensure that team members have a clear understanding of expectations, identify barriers to teams’ success and support team in resolving major issues, design and manage team development activities, empower team to lead themselves, coach and assist team leaders / team members with team-based methods and tools.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Minimum of five years of experience working across one or more of the Order to Cash areas: (cash application, credit management, collections, rebates, billing, disputes management, etc.) or any other finance / accounting areas. 
  • Minimum of three years of people management experience progressing up to a supervisor role. 
  • Licenciatura degree in finance or accounting. 
  • Experience working in Shared Services environments.
  • Advanced in English/Spanish 
  • Proven experience in people management, talent development.
  • Prove experience fostering vision/culture. 
  • Proven experience building business relationships with all levels of the organization. 
  • Experience communicating directly with senior leadership, including managing issue resolution, standardization, and process improvement at high levels in the organization. 
  • Convey information to: Employees at all levels – from Senior Executive to entry level
  • Adapt and Exchange (reach agreement with):  Senior Executives across the organization
  • Influence (affect change):  Senior Executives across the organization
  • Frequent communication with Regional, Functional Directors and Heads of Global Finance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage a rapidly changing environment
The following experiences are preferred:
  • Experience in the Spirits and/or FMCG industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Third language (French, Italian, Portuguese, German)
  • Experience using SAP platform.
