About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate the Quality delivered from each line by carrying out the required checking of produced cases at the end of the line.
- Record accurately the EOL Quality results from each line to allow collating & reporting of these findings by the Quality Technician on a weekly basis.
- Communicate with Production Line Leaders, Key Operators and operators to ensure corrective actions are undertaken when a quality related issue has been noted during EOL checks.
- When the process fails the EOL Quality operator is empowered to stop the line ensuring communicating the issue with Line Leaders, Key Operators and operators.
- Promote a Quality & Continuous Improvement philosophy within the UK Operations Centre.
- Promote and cascade the philosophy of Working Together, ensuring conformance to Company Vision and Values.
- Record and communicate any materials which are discovered which do not comply with GQM which will allow the Quality Technicians to raise the required SNCR against the supplier.
- EOL operator to help facilitate root cause analysis on the bottling line.
- Ability to correctly identify line quality defects and accurately record results.
- Reinforce and strengthen the HSE culture at every opportunity in operations and projects
- Promote correct HSE behaviours through personal example
- Take action upon any health, safety and environmental matter brought to their notice, and report to their Manager on any matter which they are unable to rectify
Skills and Experience
- Relevant bottling experience
- Standard grade or equivalent in arithmetic
- Computer literate with experience in SAP and Microsoft Word and Excel software packages
