About the role

- Detail orientation, customer service, proactiveness and fast issue resolution define your approach as you navigate multiple high priority tasks.
Responsibilities
- Validate the trial runs executed by the local vendors and identify discrepancies.
- Resolves discrepancies with technical and/or business personnel, implements corrective measures, and retests as required.
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of on-cycle payrolls
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of off-cycle payrolls including severance packages
- Responsible for the reconciliation, balancing and transmission of all vendor and bank interfaces/reports of payroll related data
- Responding to all enquiries within service level agreements
- Point of contact for local payroll vendor(s)
- Complete SOX controls established to ensure the data integrity and accuracy
- Responsible for preparing/reviewing the journal entries related to payroll and serve as a point of contact for finance and accounting teams as needed.
- Responsible for process documentation and update for the processes owned.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant business experience/skills in Payroll for France (minimum 5 years of experience)
- Experience working in a Shared Services Centre dealing with multi-country payrolls
- University degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or related discipline
- Language Skills: Fluent French, English & Spanish.
- Additional languages are a plus: German, Portuguese, Italian or Dutch.
- Intermediate to advance MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Preferred: HR or Accounting previous experience. / Understanding of European legislation (tax, social security, retirement, pension & other statutory/regulatory requirements).
