About the role

Performance Manager DO? The Performance Manager (Supply Chain) will create develop, and analyse a set of KPIs covering the performance of the UKOC Supply Chain Strong on data analytics this role will provide the insights needed that will drive continuous improvement actions and support delivery of successful results within the UKOC Supply Chain Team

The Performance Manager (Supply Chain) will own the reporting and identification of trends. A natural, handson leader, the Performance Manager will deliver key messages to and work collaboratively with Peers and Internal/External Stakeholders Using the report results, this role will be expected to lead and proactively drive the continuous improvement agenda with the full Supply Chain Team and the wider UKOC & Global Bacardi Teams

A high degree of flexibility is required in this role as responding to the situation on hand and providing insightful adhoc analyses will also be needed.
The role is based in the UK operation centre, located in Glasgow. The operations centre (OC) is one of five globally and manages all operational and supply activity for their brands. The OC in Glasgow is responsible for managing the Bacardi portfolio of Whisky and Gin brands.


  • Develop, maintain and deliver new set of KPIs as well as adhoc reporting as required
  • Develop and maintain the supply chain KPIs dashboard
  • Produce accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports for review by the OC Leadership Team
  • Continually review our performance reporting to keep the data relevant and fresh
  • Identify trends and provide insights including impacts on service and cost
  • Pro actively & concisely deliver key messages to influence business decision making
  • Drive & Influence actions to increase service results and drive cost efficiency
  • Work closely with the internal UKOC Team and build strong partnerships with key Global Stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and results success
  • Identify areas for improvement, propose solutions with sound conclusions on service & cost benefits
  • Lead in the area of Performance ensuring action is taken and improved results are visible
  • Own the ZBB (Zero Based Budgeting) process for the UKOC Supply Chain & lead insights and decision making in this area 

Skills and Experience

  • Strong, proactive communicator, comfortable delivering key messages to stakeholders of all levels – Senior Directors and Peers
  • Quick to identify trends and can easily draw conclusions from the reported data; Capable of drawing out meaningful, actionable insights to share & influence stakeholders that will help drive business decisions
  • Sound operational, commercial and financial awareness and understands the meaning and implications of the data results for the business
  • Excellent communicator at all levels, capable of delivering concise, clear messaging that will influence and drive action through the business
  • Technically sound, strong on analytics; Expert Microsoft Excel, Power BI is a plus
  • Experience in a supply chain, commercial or operational environment within FMCG Company desirable
  • Experience in Innovation, continuous improvement and project management a plus
  • Educational Requirement: Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Management
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to interpret data and influence improvement actions
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • SAP ECC/APO experience or any other Planning and ERP system knowledge
  • Energetic, self-starter with leadership qualities who works well under limited direction
  • Ability to work independently with high degree of initiative and drive
