About the role

WHAT DOES A PLANNING, MATERIALS & WAREHOUSE MANAGER DO?

Lead the Team in charge of production planning, of supplying the dry goods and logistics to ensure the availability of our products On Time In Full, in a way to serve our customers needs. 
Be responsible to provide an effective production planning for the plant, a strong supply planning to our suppliers and reliable inventory management.
Build effective cross functional team collaborating across supply chain and other areas of the organization, namely production, quality, procurement, new product development. 
Drive planning and supply performance through initiatives such as capacity management, demand replenishment analysis, supplier partnerships or SAP optimization, including strong planning processes and performance. 
Bring continuous improvements driving service level excellence and efficiency.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
  • Ensure end to end processes are aligned to deliver optimal production and material planning
  • Coordinate capacities assessments (short/mid and long term) at supplier level and for the plant to ensure that the capacities are in place accordingly to our customers needs
  • Support the S&OP process from a Plant Planning and Materials Planning perspective
  • Drive the planning activities for the plant and enforce the right communication flows between Global Supply Chain, Suppliers and Plant stakeholders
  • Lead cross functional production planning meetings 
  • Drive the supplier integration program for the plant
  • Share our material forecasts to our suppliers, and ensure availabilities confirmation back accordingly to our needs
  • Define and drive the right safety stock coverage strategies for components and for finished goods
  • Manage the right level of inventories in order to ensure sales and to avoid slow/no movers
  • Drive a reliable inventory management
  • Key actor within our supplier’s monthly/quarterly and yearly business reviews 
  • Lifecycle management : build phase out and phase in plans covering all levels of bills of materials 
  • Analyze and report materials excess and obsolescence taking corrective / preventative actions that will minimize financial risk
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with accurate and timely information on planning to enable effective decision making 
  • Coach and mentor direct reports, develop talent pipeline
  • Foster a team environment where high performance and team spirit are driven by our values 
  • Develop reporting systems and processes, utilizing new technology and SAP functionality. Continuously seek to identify improvement opportunities through the process
  • Ensure communication and follow up of KPIs to monitor and improve performance

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • End to End Supply Chain Processes
  • Customer focus
  • Leadership competencies and strong communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Strong organizational skills, Networking and interpersonal relationship building
  • Experience / Practice within SAP ECC & APO is mandatory
  • Technically agile to trigger and analyze data within SAP environment 
  • MS Office strong knowledge
  • Capability to overview, manage and co-ordinate multiple projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Critical thinking, detail oriented, autonomous and rigorous. 
  • Has a strong bias to action – delivers business results 
  • Ability to handle stressful, fast-paced, fast changing environment
  • 5 years plus management experience in supply chain function, ideally in multinational FMCG 
  • Language skills : fluent French & English (written and oral)
