ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities
- Third party customer creation and maintenance in the internal MDG tool
- Responsible for customer/ distributor creation approval for all Tradall Export Markets, including:
- Validation of the financial information and credit review (payment terms, credit limits, invoicing currency…)
- Validation of compliance and legal information
- Responsible for the set-up and follow-up of the bank guarantees with specific distributors
- Preparation of KPIs at customer creation level (from the request to creation in SAP)
- Monitor and anticipate the quarterly cut-off adjustment, perform investigations when unexpected
- Account receivables balance monthly review and variances understanding, resolution with the regions.
- Responsible for customer/ distributor changes review and approval
- Responsible to validate the creation of vendors that are also customers
- Responsible for the set-up and follow-up of the bank guarantees with specific distributors
- Oversea Tradall legal presence in Export markets via Representative Offices / Branches. Coordinate the unwinding and the set up of local structure and transfer the payment release process to BES
- Reinforce internal control on A&P and Discounts expenses via the coordination and execution of internal audit
- Follow-up on A&P spending, ensure process compliance
- Advise on Value Added Pack (VAP) accounting treatments
- Price approval (raw materials and finished goods), master data records
- Purchasing and selling price request, check, analysis, approval and request maintenance in SAP
- Pricing recommendation for intercompany purchases and sales
- New fiscal year purchasing price requests renewal (plants)
- New fiscal year selling price requests (group/ 3rd party distribution entities)
- Calculations and approval of Customer, Vendor and New products transfer prices
- Discount control: checked sales order to be released in accordance to group policies
- Monitoring controls to ensure alignment with the policy, ensure compliance throughout the trading chain, raise exceptions for approval
- Monthly pricing KPIs follow-up
- Propose internal pricing tool improvements
- Pricing support (supply chain, customer service, plants …) as required
- Support in the pricing mailbox queries
- Pricing and profitability analysis
- Margin reviews for key / sensitive brand-market combination and take corrective actions when needed
- Dashboard pricing
- Perform a timely FX impact analysis on pricing in local currencies, take relevant action when needed
- Perform a monthly review of price variances and their impacts on the Markets, take corrective actions when needed
- Invoice To Cash KPIs (DSO, Ageing)
- Main contact for the markets / regions for questions related to Legal Entity Tradall
- IBP project including the rebates process (through automated rebates agreements instead of SRM)
- MDG P Database improvements, including roll out to production entities
- Ad-hoc projects: active participation as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent
- 2-3 years in finance
- Similar experience is an asset
- English, any other language knowledge would be an asset
- IT literate (SAP, Excel, Business Warehouse (BI), Cognos TM1)
