About the role
Responsibilities
- Value creation: Responsible for identifying cost savings opportunities and the implementation of programs to actualize these savings.
- Develop internal and external processes to ensure an integrated sourcing system that meets customer requirements, minimise total cost of ownership, maximise effectiveness including conforming to established quality standards that are responsive to the needs of the business.
- Execute end-to-end large scale sourcing initiatives directly and in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Manage RFx events on Bacardi Logistics tendering platform Keelvar
- Supplier Relationship management: build partnerships to unlock value beyond price, explore opportunites to deliver on savings expectations and sustainability metrics
- Stakeholder Engagement: Bringing external supplier intelligence in house to drive new initiatives and fuel growth. Being part of broader Logistics initiatives to indentify early savings opportunities and efficiencies.
- Perform data analysis togther with 4PL, logistics buyer and finance to generate insights for decision making
- Analyze market and gather insights: Global supply chains are highly disrupted since the start of global pandemic and aggrevated by current geopolitical tensions. Read, analyze and present insights that may be valuable for Global Supply Chain organization and Global Logistics Category strategy.
- Risk management and compliance: ensure business and commercial decisions are properly communicated, documented and filed.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics procurement category or have been managing complex projects in supply chain in a big FMCG company, consultancy or 4PL organization
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain or a related field is preferred.
- Significant and progressive experience in procurement / strategic sourcing
- Project management skills, Agile experience is advantageous
- Result driven, proactive and a problem solver
- Able to identify and recognize synergies with other areas of spend and drive cross-category initiatives
- Ability to flex between strategic thinking and a hands on pragmatic approach
- Analytical skills to perform data analysis with emphasis in generating reports and presentations as well as ability to facilitate and present recommendations at all levels
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English, French, Spanish would be an asset.
- Strong social skills and cultural awareness, cross departmental and cross border Functional Skills:
- Solid understanding of procurement function and category management (including industry analysis and cost benchmarking skills)
- Proficiency with core Procurement skills – Strategic Procurement, Supplier Management and Performance, Supply Market Analysis, Cost Modelling, Category Management, Digital Procurement, Sustainable Procurement 2.0, ESG
- Proven negotiation and relationship management skills Technical Skills:
- Advanced MS Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Digital Procurement tools (Keelvar, Comas, etc.)
- ERP - SAP & BI (not mandatory)
