About the role

This position is responsible for planning and scheduling the production of finished products to meet inventory and customer service targets with Bacardi USA, tracking and analyzing KPIs to create action plan for improvement and coordinating communication between customer service, production and procurement teams.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Keeps informed of all new developments relative to materials, production, and quality to provide recommendations designed to optimize production schedule. 
  • Assists in the analyzation of inventory reports and surplus stock lists to determine need for production requirements; directs the initiation of corrective measures to restore satisfactory inventory balance.  
  • Assists in the evaluation and direction of the safety program within the Industrial Materials Warehouse operation.  
  • Responsible for the scheduling of plant production.
  • Responsible for layout of Master Plan for all production.
  • Track, communicate and create action plans around KPIs: OFR, Schedule Attainment, Schedule Mix Attainment, Block Planning Attainment, Availability, etc.
  • Participate in daily Production Meeting to communicate the production requirements
  • Responsible for adequate finished product inventory levels that meet inventory level demands.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute weekly production schedule.
  • Plan and schedule cycle production items based on forecast and demands.
  • Coordinate and plan special production with Bacardi-Martini USA.
  • Monitor Bulk Rum needs and assist in determining order quantities with Rum and Flavor Processing.
  • Maintain master data for existing and new IPCs. 

Critical experiences for success

Minimum education:
  • BA/BS required

Minimum experience:
  • 5 – 7 years Scheduling or Supply Chain Experience 
NECESSARY SKILLS:                                                          
Good organizational skills, good communication, 
problem solving, critical thinking, ability to use computer hardware and software, ability to utilize office machinery, detail oriented.
