About the role

Your Opportunity

The markets in which we operate are very competitive with Tax and Trade challenges. Strategic Sourcing is therefore key to optimize our COGS at Region level and consequently at Cluster level. Therefore, there is a large range of specific initiatives to manage from Sourcing Strategy, Manufacturing Footprint Strategy & continuous improvements.

In this Role you will lead multifunctional project teams in an agile & ever-changing environment to ensure flawless delivery, execution, and excellence in projects from start to finish. 

Leveraging your knowledge, you will embrace execution with excellence and will drive passion and strong ownership to teams, to deliver projects OTIF & in Budget.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:

Project manage LAC OC Initiatives
  • Work with the OC & Region leaders to charter and lead initiatives.
  • Drive clarity on initiative success criteria and ensure those are met at the respective decision gate.
  • Support informed business decision making through strong technical mastery, well informed risk analysis & fact based cost knowledge.
  • Ensure that Global best practices are leveraged and applied whilst enabling speed to market.
  • Work with the multifunctional OC operation’s teams to ensure best value & Successful delivery of projects. 
  • Work closely with Region function resources and in other OC’s based resources to ensure that ideas,  supplier relationships and capabilities are leveraged at its best.
  • Ensure alignment with Global Operations team & Global Activity Director is created prior to decision gates are reviewed.
  • Lead holistic risk assessment process for initiatives and drive best business decisions.
  • Escalate shortly any specific medium or high risk identified 
  • Support the adoption of global work processes and effective collaboration across different brands.
  • Monitor budget and timelines to deliver project Right First Time.
Business understanding:
  • Connect with SC Market, Region Marketing and Markets to build a good understanding of business needs
  • Effectively represent business needs in the OC
  • Integrate constructively OC constraints/requirements with markets/marketing

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Strong leadership and capability to manage and drive a portfolio of projects.
  • Good understanding of stage gate processes and how initiatives are led through.
  • Excellent written and oral effective communication skills in Spanish and English to influence others across LAC region
  • Capability to lead, work and influence in a highly changing environment to deliver excellence
  • Ability to Socialize/train on Activity management process within the business
  • Effective Communication with the OC, GOPS & Business
  • Contribute to the development of Best Practices for the Project Management Discipline in LAC OC
  • 2-5 years experience in business development or operations (such as Supply Chain, Engineering or Operation). 
  • Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • English business proficient & Spanish a plus
  • MS project, SAP Knowledge a plus
  • CPM or MPI or other project methodology training or certification a plus
  • Either has a strong project management experience from ideation to launch or can  demonstrate a strong interest in managing and leading projects and the ability to be a fast learner
Personal Qualities
  • You have Passion for managing projects on a regional or global level.
  • You are mobile to visit teams in person - Willing to travel 25 to 35% of time
