About the role

What does a Projects & Engineering Process Manager do?

Development, communication and implementation of plans for expansions, design, redesign and/or modifications, based on engineering ensuring the achievement of objectives for the company.

About You 

You must be a person with a degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related. A master's degree would be an advantage. You must also be fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Manage the preparation of designs, controls and project specifications, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc.
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational issues and minimize delays.
  • Identify, develop, and collect the resources needed to complete the project.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; and selection of materials, equipment, project personnel, and outside contractors.
  • Follow up on training plans, education and evaluations of the personnel under their responsibility, ensuring their participation in the required programs and practical applications in your area of work. 
  • Comply with the provisions of comprehensive waste management, management of hazardous chemicals, emergency response and identify the environmental aspects and impacts of the area.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum experience of 5 years in Development, Communication and Implementation of Engineering Projects (extensions, Design, Redesign, Demand, Final Product). 
  • Minimum of 5 years in Personnel Administration.
  • Advanced Management in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Advanced Knowledge in Design, Development and Implementation of Engineering Projects.
  • Advanced knowledge in engineering standards, safety, designs and work specifications.
  • Advanced knowledge in budgets and forecasts.
Personal Qualities
  • Team Worker, Effective Communicator.
  • Efficient adaptation to change, with great innovation and results-oriented. 
  • You must be a person capable of planning and have an excellent organization.
  • Being able to develop staff, resolve conflicts, negotiate, analyze problems and make decisions
