About the role

JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Manager is at the frontline of our Brand Home offering, ensuring we deliver against this key revenue stream, merchandising physical store retail offerings, as well as our ecommerce channel, by development of new products. They will work closely with both the Brand Home team on site, as well as the wider Brand team and our extensive supplier network.  

This role will lead product development pipeline and manage the warehouse & fulfilment operation to maximize revenue and profitability.  A commercially minded, self-motivated team player, who can work well in a global organization, as well as engaging with front line guests on the tour.  This is an exciting role, with several facets, and a significant overall clear financial business contribution.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own both the physical & ecommerce retail channel strategy for the Brand Home, including but not limited to new product development and approvals, ordering, stock management, merchandising, supply chain and logistics.
  • Understand trends and changes in consumer habits to create a dynamic, profitable & strategic retail offering.
  • Requests quotes and prepares purchase orders for new and existing product lines.
  • Develop new product lines following Bacardi brand guidelines with the support and guidance from the Global Brand Team.
  • Analyze sales data both onsite and online, reporting to Brand Home management with performance results & guidance on driving increased revenue to identify opportunities for improvement and setting action plans. 
  • Achieve KPI targets relating to visitor experience (average spend per head), operational efficiency (retail store layout/website sales funnel), and income (P&L targets). 
  • Maintain a high standard of store appearance leading our merchandising and reacting to change of sales trends.
  • Ensuring the upkeep of the highest of standard relating to cleanliness, Health & Safety, Social Responsibility, and Licensing laws.
  • Stock Management including the implementation of stock control systems and procedures, lead auditing and looking for continuous ways to improve.
  • Support and improve back-office systems and assist with handling of POS, emails, customer queries, etc. across all areas of the Brand Home.
  • Engaging with customers and maintaining exemplary customer service standards, line managing a team and promoting a culture of exceeding expectations.  
  • Demonstrate and improve training on effective sales skills and exceptional product knowledge across the entire Brand Home team, ensuring the relevant training and development of new starters and existing Primos.
  • Effectively line manage the retail, ecommerce, and warehouse team to process on-site retail operations/delivery and fulfillment.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to come up with seasonal campaigns across all retail outlets & ensuring they can be operationally delivered. 
  • Managing and developing relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Potential Manager on Duty support as needed. 

Skills and Experience

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years experience in Retail / New Line and SKU development / Management 

Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Spanish)
  • Experience working in customer service.
  • Experience in retail at a management level with an understanding of industry trends and consumer behavior.
  • Knowledge in electronic systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, POS)
  • Experience with cash handling and using a POS system.
  • Effective use of the Internet and email.
