About the role

Your Opportunity

The Clerk I perform transactional level tasks such as costing and material views creations, keep accuracy on master data, Bacardi trading flows maintenance in costing legacy system and account reconciliations.

The position is also responsible of generating reports, performing checks of the cost of sales, inventory/sales volume between different reporting systems and analyzing the drivers of the differences.

During month end close, this person will work in processes to ensure integrity in the financial statements.

About You

This role requires interactions across many functions (Finance & Non-Finance), including acting as a resource to the international markets due to daily tasks in which you will need to provide customer service to different markets across the world. On the role you will be able to drive standardization and reinforce correct procedures to make sure all the countries comply with the global guidelines.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be
  • Processing Sysaid/MDGM tickets related to: Material creations, costing creations, cost calculations, transfer price calculations and accounting views maintenance. 
  • Reconcile across both systems SAP & STC: standard costs, inventory, sale volumes and cost of sales to ensure accuracy on financial data.
  • Maintain trading flow structures in STC proactively and clear STC links (reactive load of structures during close).
  • Work with local contacts and master data organization to solve different issues.
  • Work on Balance Sheet reconciliations and different SOX controls in place in our team.
  • Run validations, checks and controls as needed to ensure data integrity at each point of each cycle (specifically in MEC).
  • Proceed with the annual processes (budget and transfer price).

  • Experience on SAP system.
  • MS Excel applications with intermediate pivot tables and formulas experience.
  • Intermediate analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage her/his time efficiently. 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to operate with discipline in terms of deadlines completion and follow ups execution.
  • Works well in a team environment and is a self-starter that continuously is thinking on how things can be done better.
  • Desired but not mandatory: possess technical mastery in topics such as: standard costing, inventory flows, transfer pricing and variances accounting.
