About the role

What does a Receptionist do?

The UKOC (Operations Centre) is responsible for the production and supply of Bacardi’s Scotch Whisky and Gin,  including DEWAR’S®, ABFERFELDY® and BOMBAY SAPPHIRE®.

The receptionist provides our guests with a seamless experience to our site, conveying the quality of our product as well as our heritage and culture. This role is responsible for running the reception area and will also support the Front of House Ambassador with in-house events, mailroom, and management of conference areas. 

About You 

You will have experience and background in a front of house reception, be well organised, and possess excellent communication skills. You will have a proactive and can-do attitude with the ability to respond quickly and effectively. With excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, you welcome visitors to our site in line with our values and culture. You will be able to build strong relationships with Primos at all levels of the organisation. 

You will have experience in an administrative role and be proactive, always looking to execute to a high level. You will have strong organisational skills and be able to multitask varying priorities.

Part-time Hours: Monday – Thursday 11 AM – 3 PM.
Please note, this is an onsite role that is not eligible for remote working. 


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Be the face of our brands as the first person visitors meet onsite. Create a 5-star experience for visitors to our site by welcoming them to our local site and keeping a FOH 
  • Core front of house duties, e.g. welcoming guests and informing the local contact of their arrival, answering phone, responsibility of managing meeting rooms and relevant catering options, complete opening and closing procedures, assisting all visitors in administration needs like taxi bookings, offering/collecting PPE, refreshments, communications for Visitors (e.g. Safety video; visitor maps) etc.
  • Ensure the conference areas reflect the standards required and liaising with the relevant business areas to facilitate visitors to attend tours as required. 
  • Support the Front of House Ambassador with managing on-site company bar area including completing stock checks, bar displays, and organising onsite events such as masterclasses and mixology sessions. 
  • Ad-hoc Administrative support such as: 
    • Issuing / mailing and supporting relevant comms e.g. bulk mailers 
    • Raising purchase orders
    • Managing mailroom and stationary orders
    • Support audits & reporting
    • Support engagement initiatives across the business and any other tasks as set

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Have experience and background in a front of house role. 
  • Be well organised and possess excellent communication skills. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • The following experiences are preferred:
  • Experience of SAP would be advantageous.
