About the role

What does an AM On-Trade do?

Your role as the Account Manager On- Trade is to make Bacardi stand out as the preferred spirits partner within your regions of responsibility.

You are the face of Bacardi and primary point of contact for the outlets. The plans you create and the business relationships you nurture set you apart from our competitors because you embody the Bacardi culture.

You are responsible for helping to create consumer experiences that will build on the legacy of our iconic brands.

You are accountable for how our brands show up and the P&L that sits behind them. You harness the power of a global spirits company by leveraging the support functions around you.

You possess the experience, personality, and credibility to represent our brands in the On-Trade channel. 

Customers want to work with you because you combine a high level of commercial acumen with creative thinking when it comes to drinks and brand activations.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • You as Account Manager are responsible for execution of the commercial strategy of Bacardi Norway in your designated regions of the On-Trade channel. 
  • It is your responsibility to make Bacardi the spirits partner of choice, which means that you maximise the availability and visibility of our brands. We should be the pouring brands in Rum with Bacardí and Gin with Bombay Sapphire. Grey Goose Vodka and Patrón Tequila should be the brands of choice in premium cocktails. Martini Fiero & St-Germain should be the bases of fantastic Spritz experiences.
  • Your goal is to contract strategic customers to sell our brands and ensure we have superior visibility in the cocktail menu to drive sales. You further support these accounts with promotions and campaigns to ensure rate of sale.
  • You will be judged on the quality of the contracts, the results they deliver and the standards of execution in the outlets.
  • You are obsessive about how our brands show up in the outlet, whether it is the back bar, the drinks menu or brand activations. You will work with Customer Marketing, Advocacy and Activation to deliver these exceptional brand experiences.
  • You will be diligent in tracking customer data into our sales automation tool, and you are measured against volume, revenue, profit, distribution, and visibility targets

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Proven sales track record in delivering strong commercial results, preferably in our industry with a desired minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Experience in premium On-Trade, whether it’s supplier side or customer side, is preferred. You understand how these businesses operate and how you can influence key decision makers.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills in building customer business proposals and are confident in delivering them.
  • Communication skills are paramount, and you need to be able to adapt your style. You show humility in certain situations and assertiveness in others to influence the outcome. Your written communication creates impact, and your verbal communication is persuasive.
  • Strong language skills written and verbally in both Norwegian and English are required.

  • You have a track record of going the extra mile and distinguishing yourself from your competitors.
