About the role
Responsibilities
- Beat revenue targets (NSV) and profit targets (GP) each quarter.
- Managing the A&P budget each month.
- Managing cash collection and beating target (overdues as a percentage of total accounts receivable).
- Growing Market Share in strategically important airport locations
- Managing a team of Retail Ambassadors
- Responsible for a diverse customer base that operates across all sub-channels in Global Travel Retail
- Work in close collaboration with our domestic/local business on brand planning and supplies
Skills and Experience
- Commercial skills are critically important for this role. Experience in managing all parts of a P&L to achieve revenue, profit and profitability targets is necessary. Numerical and analytical skills are also highly valued.
- Negotiation skills and an ability to create annual trading agreements are fundamental to this role. Experience negotiating price and investment to drive growth is required, preferably in the off-trade channel.
- Communication skills are of paramount importance. You will have experience managing customers and working across a matrix structure internally. Written and verbal communications skills in English must be of a high standard.
- Leadership skills are important because you are responsible for the Retail Ambassadors in the airport locations. You need to demonstrate that you can inspire and manage a team to deliver exceptional results.
