About the role

Your Opportunity

As a Regional Marketing Manager, you will be accountable for managing business performance for Teeling in the East Region. You will serve as a critical extension of both the Brand Team and the local commercial teams, responsible for translating brand priorities into robust local market support plans and overseeing the execution. You will help drive commercial share of mind for Teeling in your markets and work cross functionally with Sales, Customer Marketing, and Advocacy.

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:

Core overarching responsibilities: Commercial Planning, Plan Implementation, Communication, and Business Performance Management.

Specific responsibilities tied to these include:
  • Ongoing management of regional business for Teeling, partnering with key commercial stakeholders to deliver against business goals
  • Drive development of detailed local market support plans, supporting the design and execution of brand activities in your markets (i.e. local PR and event activation opportunities) and commercial activities (i.e. identifying and tracking target accounts, developing customer programs, partnering with Sales on incentive programs)
  • Manage an A&P budget for Teeling as assigned to you for the East Region and implement M&E framework to measure activity impact.
  • Ensure executional excellence on all activities you lead on Teeling in your markets, and serve as a partner to brand advocacy (local full-time Ambassadors and Whiskey Retail Specialists) to ensure that they are trained and confident in executing the brand
  • Work closely with the sales teams in your market to ensure that they are trained and motivated to sell your brand

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Commercial experience in the spirits industry is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate and work effectively across functional groups/departments
  • Experience of developing and mentoring direct reports
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and other related Diver applications
  • Ability to apply business experiences across multiple product lines and/or channels 
  • Aptitude to think creatively and strategically and translate strategy into operational tactics.  
  • An independent mindset, valuing collaborative decision making, capable of championing ideas with confidence
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Proven track record of creating compelling and successful sales presentations tailored to customers as well as the ability to effectively communicate programs to Field Sales team
