About the role


As a regional marketing manager, this position works in close collaboration with the brand team, regional and local sales teams, local brand ambassadors, the Regional Sales Director and senior sales leads within the assigned region and is responsible for the implementation and execution of national marketing programs as well as the identification of local opportunities to leverage and optimize national marketing initiatives and maximize resources to drive the sales plan.


You are member of the Santa Teresa marketing program team and a key partner to the regional commercial team.  

You have a strong understanding of the brand and commercial priorities.

You are intimately familiar with the on and off-premise and understand how to program in multiple channels – chain and independent.

You are a strategic thinker and planner and assist the region with national, regional and local initiatives and with budget management.


• Drive execution of nationally designed programs, localizing content and tactics where appropriate to suit regional conditions and opportunities.
• Develop local and regional opportunities working with regional commercial teams to drive the business forward
• Support in the development of national programs and VAP initiatives by providing feedback on previously implemented programs.
• Continually take the pulse of market realities through retail visits to see competitive activity and identify local opportunities; share findings with the retail program team and broader marketing organization where appropriate
• Work closely with Brand Director to manage activation budget: assist with implementing national marketing initiatives as well as build customized regional/local programs from ideation to execution to maximize resources
• Analysis or ROI of marketing programs as it relates to sales.
• Regularly communicate with assigned regional sales force via market visits, sales meetings, etc. to gain feedback on market conditions, challenges, etc. and to communicate marketing information with sales.
• Work in close partnership with distributor marketing teams to ensure we are leading communication and execution of all national / regional programming and initiatives.
• Actively participate with the retail marketing team through consistent sharing of information via weekly status calls, attending meetings, and engaging with the broader marketing organization where appropriate.
• Oversee team of brand ambassadors in FL, NY, GA, BOS on business priorities, programming and ultimately securing new placements and driving sales

Skills and Experience

• 3-5+ years sales experience in a leading FMCG company at a state or channel level within the beverage industry preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent preferred
• Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner, communicating and interacting effectively with executives, employees, vendors and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of the organization, in person, via telephone and email or other written correspondence.
• Ability to develop new and creatively innovative ideas for bespoke local programming that keeps the consumer at the heart by elevating their moments that matter.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Independent and strategic thinking with the ability to see the big picture.
