About the role


YOUR OPPORTUNITY  

This is a unique opportunity to be part of our Supply Chain team and play an important role in the Caribbean market and in our organization. 

You will be responsible of the supply planning analysis, maintaining  optimum stock levels at the warehouse in Dominican Republic and at our distributors in the Caribbean islands, creating and follow up on replenishment orders from the different OCs, as: Mexico, UK, France and others; with the production planners, the global logistics and the customer service team. 

You will ensure optimum levels of service and provide clear action plans and valuable insight for the supply and demand planning process.

You will be the key point of contact for our internal and external customers, creating clear communication channels to review inventory and service levels as well as timely communicate risks and actions plans.

You will be helping Bacardi to deliver against our BEST10 growth aspirations to support sales.

Responsibilities

Supply Planning 
  • Responsible for the supply Planning process for the Dominican Republic and the Distributors in the Caribbean. (+25 markets)
  • Ensure right inventory levels are define and ensure proper execution of the replenishment plants
  • Ensure proper communication channels and process with the production plants stakeholders to ensure supply execution.
  • Develop the supply chain process that provides a clear view of the inventory and purchase order status that provide timely and accurate information for decision making. 
  • Build visibility to all stakeholders between volume sales plan and stock availability to the markets, also bring opportunities to the business by anticipating supply issues in the process
  • Ensure correct actions plan to mitigate inventory risks and correct communication process to report risk and opportunities to the region.,
  • Define process to provide 3rd party markets order status from the plant to the distributor to ensure service and optimum inventory levels
  • Plan finished good stock inbound from plants to market warehouses based on forecasts and stock at market policies
  • Understand route to markets, MOQs and Leadtime’s with plants and customers. Propose, set up and document rules when not established with SC Manager
  • Ensure SAP FTS parameters are maintained, reviewed, correspond to reality for the region
Inventory management/KPIs
  • Ensure optimum levels of inventory
  • Secure lowest levels of slow moving and write offs
  • Collaborate with Sales and S&OP Manager to manage the Portfolio for best optimization

Strategy
  • Along with Supply Chain Manager of Caribbean islands define the Supply Chain strategy, with optimum inventory levels, order follow up, correct communication channels to have a great customer service and optimize cost.
  • Collaborate with the Panama Planner Specialist to ensure optimum levels of inventory for the Caribbean markets are held on the consolidation centre. 
  • Collaborate with sales and demand data coordinator to understand customers’ data to plan and implement supply chain optimization projects to increase delivery efficiency
  • Analyse current market’s needs, demand trends, opportunities of supply, and predict future trends for middle and longer-term horizon overview (24 months)
People
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team and market team in the Caribbean region and the Panama team to drive Bacardi culture and values to create a great place to work.
New Products Introduction
  • Cooperate with the Innovation Team / Supply Chain Manager / SOP Manager to ensure effective Innovation process with the aim of reducing supply chain complexity, optimizing route to markets, increasing supply reliability/flexibility, and harmonizing the IPC portfolio.
  • Support of new products launch/ limited editions / replacement activities projects with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain Manager to ensure on time in full delivery of projects, and smooth switch if replacement with least write-off
  • Maintain the products portfolio list, including dimensions, special specifications, lifecycle information and communicate regularly with stakeholders

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • You will have 4+ years’ experience in supply planning preferable in Caribbean region. 
  • Preferable global volume consumer goods but you may well have experience in other industries. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Business, Logistics or equivalent
  • Language skills: Fluent English & Spanish
  • Good knowledge SAP and of MS Office and. (Excel advance is required)  
  • Power BI or similar knowledge is desired 
  • Experience in international logistics and knowledge on international trading practices for the Caribbean markets
  • You have managed third parties’ logistics and warehouse driving continuous improvement in their performance – service, quality, and cost. 
  • Ability to find effective ways of working within a matrix organization, and within a fast-changing environment. 
  • Strong analytical skills, and close attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and influence skills
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with teams across different geographies and cultures.
