About the role

As the ST GERMAIN Ambassador for Milan, you will bring the joyful decadence of ST GERMAIN to life in your market. You will become the face and voice for ST GERMAIN to the community and you will deliver the brand programming agreed in the IAP. You will embody and represent the brands image and values externally and internally. Supporting the Commercial teams in selling in our brands to customers will be part of the role as well as collaborating closely with the Incubation Marketing Manager and the Advocacy Team in building industry leading programming that connects with key audiences in relevant sales channels. Your deep knowledge about the spirits category and the brand, along with your ability to inspire and excite consumers, partners and primos about our brands, and digital skillset, is the key to success in this role.



Responsibilities

  • You will be the visible face for ST GERMAIN in Milan and increase desire and recommendation by adapting & implementing future proof programs and assets.
  • You will develop relationships virtual or face to face with key stakeholders & partners in the On Trade (i.e., bartenders and bar owners) and build brand love within these channels.
  • Engage with and become well-known among lifestyle and trade press by working with our PR team to be the media face of our brand in market, build relationships and host press events.  
  • Bring the STGERMAIN world to life through our Education Platform (The Making of ST GERMAIN and ST GERMAIN Harvest), Trade Engagement Platforms (Bartenders Brunch & Market Exploration) and local platforms to give back to your community with ST GERMAIN, with clear KPIs, with consumers, customers and primos.
  • Seek out opportunities to educate and sample ST GERMAIN with consumers through lifestyle brand collaborations.
  • Engage with our target audience (trade & consumers) through digital channels, using social as a platform to inspire, share and build ST GERMAIN to drive recommendation.
  • As an expert in the brand and spirits category, you will support the local commercial and brand teams in defining how we show up in the relevant outlets and channels with focus on increasing availability, visibility, and quality.
  • This role is varied and will require interacting with the Sales teams and key channel stakeholder in Milan and Italy. As a result, you will be mainly based in Milan but at times we may need you to travel to stay connected.


Skills and Experience

  • With a background in the hospitality, you follow trends within drinks and in everyday life 
  • You’re in the know when it comes to the hot spots in town and the enjoy going there with friends
  • You’re really motivated, energetic, and always looking for the next ‘cool’ thing to showcase 
  • You have a strong network across influencers and trendsetters
  • Experience in premium On-trade or luxury hotels 
  • Wide network of strong industry relationships
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong understanding of social media and how to use it effectively
  • Experience of managing a budget & measuring success
  • Self-organization
  • Proficiency in English
