We’re looking for the very best innovative talent to join our team as a Sales Analyst/Planning.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the VP, Sales.  Schedule and manage logistics of meetings, and create and update reports, correspondence, and other written materials.  Perform complex clerical and administrative work with a focus on analyzing and reporting data.

Essential Functions of the Job     
  • Serve as primary contact to assist field sales with running Diver & Aperity reports and setting up report markers.  
  • Create and update Excel spreadsheets and/or reports using Diver data and ensure accuracy of data through scrutiny and confirmation of information (once populated into spreadsheet).
  • Provide ad hoc reports to Regional Managers for particular market/region, as requested, regarding compliance/non-compliance with national mandates after start of program, ensuring the accuracy and validity of the retrieved data. 
  • Collect and analyze depletion data, distribution grids (opportunities and tracking), program updates, distributor invoicing, budget tracking, and POS orders, using a variety of programs, including, but not limited to, Nielsen, Spectra and Price Trac. 
  • Effectively organize time, manage diverse activities, and meet deadlines.
  • Provide backup point of contact to the Dimensional Insights Project Manager (Diver).
  • Create PowerPoint presentations (including distributor presentations) for regional and national meetings; assist with presentations.
  • Work as liaison with distributors as needed; maintain the distributor contact list. 
  • Act as liaison with the Marketing Department to maintain library of logos and ads; send promotional announcements via email blasts to key account customers and distributors.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to sales team and Texas office staff as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, mailing, shipping, maintaining office materials and supplies, and arranging conference calls.

Measures of success

Works with minimal supervision and exercises a high degree of discretion and independent judgment.  Primary duties require a high level of accuracy in the collection and analysis of data to be reported to the sales team.

Critical experiences for success

  • Position requires an Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience
  • Exceptional customer service provided through knowledge of operations and quality standards in the industry as well as principles and processes of clerical and administrative procedures.

  • Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner. 
  • Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written, communicating effectively with employees, staff, customers (both internal and external) in person, via telephone or email.  
  • Computer proficiency required in Dynamics AX and Diver programs as well as MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; ability to use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet. 
  • Ability to read and write in English with knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.  Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.   
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and to prioritize appropriately.
  • Detail-oriented and very organized.
  • Ability to analyze information for the purposes of preparing reports, data validation (using Diver information), coordinating efforts and solving problems.   

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls (5-6+ hours per day); reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.  The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds and infrequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

The employee is required to possess visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading, visual inspection and general observations.

The working environment is basically an indoor climate-controlled environment.  The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work).
