About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You will own the Release Management lifecycle at Bacardi’s CCE Platform which includes scheduling, coordinating and managing the releases across Salesforce and other cloud platforms integrated with Salesforce.

You will responsible for implementing and managing the release processes through development, test, and production environments, working closely with developers, testers, product owners and operations team.

ABOUT YOU

You will find different teams that you will have to coordinate. Each team is subscribed to Bacardi’s release mainstream. They work their own development and testing environments and when they are ready, they request permission to be deploy to Production. You will own the release mainstream environments (SIT, UAT, Staging and Production) so you will coordinate releases and execute manual steps.

Where necessary you will provide tools and services to help product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production,

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
Measure releases to ensure they are delivered on time.
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations.
Participate in business Go/No-Go meetings.
Communicate release information and schedules to the business as required.
Keep the release calendar up-to-date and ensure alignment with partners and vendors.
Continually improve the release process.
Coordinate deployment activities across mainstream environments.
Develop scripts to build, integrate, and deploy releases.
Work with developers to properly resolve merge conflicts, deployment errors and meet code coverage criteria.
Environment management and ability to perform system copies in between different environments

Skills and Experience

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

3+ years as a Release Manager for software development, Salesforce.com
2+ years of experience on Jenkins and Migration tools.
Experience with Salesforce DX.
Salesforce Admin/Developer experience.
Experience working with Agile methodology.
Salesforce certifications are a plus.
SonarQube, Groovy, Phyton and NodeJS are a plus.
