Responsibilities

Month end closing
  • Be accountable for overall Accounting functions for an entity which covers AP/AR, month end closing, management reporting, taxation etc.
  • Process IR for PO with relevant review on GL account and maintain necessary supporting documents
  • Amortize prepaid expense (Insurance/Tax return/Software etc.) on a regular basis and make proper accruals 
  • Process depreciation/disposal/asset acquisition in a timely manner with proper approval
  • Prepare debit/credit notes for inter-company transactions
  • Process other closing jobs such as FX revaluation/adjustment and etc. in a timely manner and with accuracy
  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
  • Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and account balances are accurately stated in accordance with GAAP and Company policy. Research/resolve any issues identified.
Cash flow management and Tax compliances
  • Monitor and control proper cash balance and process cash payment transactions
  • Provide accurate cash-flow forecast and review regularly if there’s any cash shortage or abundant cash balance
  • Handle cash receipts procedure in accordance with internal control and SOX guidelines 
  • Prepare bank reconciliation for month-end closing
  • Maintain and review all documents for tax filing (corporate income tax, VAT, income tax, and etc) and ensure all compliance with local regulations
  • Coordinate year-end corporate tax filing by external vendor and prepare all requested documents
  • Prepare quarterly tax worksheet and submit it to global tax team
Internal Control
  • Ensure compliances with Bacardi policies and improve internal control process
  • Organize financial statements and budget preparation٫ accurately and timely
  • Maintain proper documentations and appropriate approvals on accounting transactions and if any necessary
  • Update information within the customer master data system
  • Take part in forecasting and financial standards setting processes
  • Review AR aging to ensure compliance
Others
  • Reply for any requirements such as vendor balance confirmation/bank information/T&E data/A&P usage/ etc.

Skills and Experience

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in accounting, financial closing and reporting
  • Experience of using SAP as an ERP is must
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/Korea local GAAP), direct and indirect tax regulation
  • Good command of English
