About the role


Global Planning Tech MPS/MRP Senior Analyst is part of the Global Demand & Supply team that owns end to end global planning processes and tools to support the business. The role will focus on helping drive the company forward in supply chain digitalization, define and implement best practices in processes, tools, technologies, and platforms for production planning. The Senior Analyst will also manage Production Planning Software transition to new software and define best in class KPI tracker with continuous improvement work to drive high performance.


You have procurement experience in Indirect procurement categories of 8+ years, and another category experience is seen as a plus. You lead and inspire creating trust and an inclusive team environment. You are a skilled communicator and are able to influence other functions and stakeholders while being an enabler and a promoter. Adaptable across business functions and able to work with some degree of ambiguity. You evaluate options and risks with strong bias to action. You embrace change and foster collaboration.



About the role

With SAP APO decommissioning expected by FY25, this role will be key to ensure the transition to our future module replacing our current “SAP APO PPDS module”

  • Key player in company’s transition for production planning digitalization 
  • Ensure technical transition from SAP APO to new Production Planning tool
  • Identify & Implement key Production Planning Processes needed by Operation Centers
  • Support and develop technologies and platforms for Production Planning Business Processes (detailed production scheduling, MPS, MRP,…)
  • Blueprint creation and follow up for the full PPDS process 
  • Global Production KPI automation and management (TIPP/TOPP, OOE, Material demand evolution and Accuracy, line capacities, …) - Some Reporting activities can be required for visibility to the company and drive actions
  • System and process training to Global Supply Chain Community
  • Best Practice Process & Tools (Production Planning, Line optimization, etc.)
  • Technical checks on conversion of replenishment to production and to material requirements 
  • Subject Matter Expert for the usage of internal/external data systems, including training the field sales teams on reporting cadence, tools, and solutions
  • Take lead support role in managing and executing ad-hoc projects while also seeking opportunities to drive efficiencies through automation and process simplification
  • Continuous Improvement activities

Can extend knowledge and responsibilities to:

  • Demand and Supply Network Planning
  • Production Planning, Material Supply Management & Inventory Management
  • Product Portfolio Management & Master Data management (Controls – Safety Stock, Targets, …)
  • Organize & Manage Global Production Planning Community continuous improvement process and knowledge

Skills and Experience

  • Education
    • Bachelor degree in Operations, Logistics, International Management, Supply Chain Experience
  • Technical skills and other skills:
    • Excellent technical skills including but not limited to SAP ECC/APO, SAP IBP, SAP BOA, advanced Excel and other AI systems. Any other production planning tool is an asset
    • Experience in a production, logistics or supply chain environment Company (Minimum 3 years)
    • Planning experience (Demand, Supply, Production etc.)
    • Experience in improving business via continuous improvement process/Lean principles and incorporation of available systems technologies.
    • Experience in project management and/or system implements (SAP).
    • Passion for IT systems and new technologies 
    • Digitalization experience
    • Solid Analytics, Planning Acumen, technical skills, and data-savvy
    • Comfortable modeling and understanding large and complex data sets into useful information and insights
    • Ability to understand and influence decision making
    • Thought Leadership, Partnership, & Value Creation Mindset Mentality - for all stakeholders 
    • Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels

  • Language skills:
    • Fluent English: Spanish would be an asset, any other European Language will be a plus
